04 The Dress Collective
We’re pretty stoked to see our readers moving toward sustainable shopping practices. And The Dress Collective is here to make it even easier. It’s the only e-boutique which sells 100 per cent Australian-made fashion labels and accessories, with each committed to the slow fashion movement. It’s pretty important, because Australians are sending over $500 million in clothing to the tip annually. The online store also provides information on each brand’s garment life cycle, from where it was designed to how is was made. Labels you’ll find include Leigh Duffy, Cameron & James, The Prodigal Daughter, Harriet Doran and more. Doing the right thing is simple. thedresscollective.com

05 SZN
In with the old, in with the new. This describes the design ethos of SZN, an Australian label crafting intelligent, considered pieces with beautifully minimal silhouettes. There’s a strong focus on the concept of fashion as art, provoking the wearer’s non-conforming spirit. Moving on from the upcycled denim of her previous range, SZN’s upcoming collection 150 is scheduled to drop soon, with a focus on simplicity and zero-waste patternmaking. It will also feature a collaboration with photographer Eryca Green. Producing soulful clothing, there’s attention to craftsmanship in every piece. szn.com.au
06Lila and Lola
If you’re feeling your home décor is a little dull, we know some artists who can dress up your space with a pretty picture or two. Lila and Lola is a mother daughter duo, designing contemporary art with an earthy twist. They create printable wall art with every decorator in mind, so all their pieces have the ability to be mixed and matched. There are over 100 different designs available, which you can print at home or order in the post. The hardest part will be choosing which one you like the most. etsy.com/shop/lilandlola
