Member favorite traditions just around the corner. In the upcoming issue, you will find details on Thanksgiving,

Breakfast with Santa and New Year’s Eve. Also, our fall tennis and golf programs are in full swing with many member social events, leagues, drills and clinics. Be sure to check your emails and the Club online calendar of events to register early!

Each year, our Cure Four All Seasons events also happen throughout the fall. We are proud to contribute to the community by raising money to support cancer research and care at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Irving which has impacted many lives of our members, employees and their families. Our annual Spin-a-thon with Michelle Miller has already raised over $35,000 and our golf tournament and Party on the Patio also raised over $30,000 for this wonderful charity. The Tennis Courts for a Cause event also contributed over $30,000. We have one final event we hope to see you attend with our silent auction and Taste of Texas on November 6th. We have raised over $125,000 so far this year and we truly appreciate your support of these incredible events as we push to raise $220,000 by the end of 2022.

I would like to congratulate Bill Nardiello as he was unanimously elected to his second year as your Board Chair. Bill has done an outstanding job working with me and our Club and Resort team to grow the Club and lead the Board of Governors in making the best recommendations for the Club. I would also like to thank Judy Mason for her significant contributions to the Board. Judy has served on the Board for four years and while her official term is ending, we know her impact will continue to be felt throughout the Club. The Member experience is greatly impacted by the initiatives of the Board and committees throughout the year. I would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all of the Tennis, Golf Services, Golf Handicap, Fitness and Social, Food and Beverage committee Members who have truly made a difference in the Club this year through their leadership with our programming, events and policies.

We have indeed had unique circumstances and struggles to overcome in the past year and a half. With the holiday season coming into view, we have a deep appreciation for all of you, our Members, and the support, guidance and feedback you have provided to our team and committees this year. From the entire Club and Resort team, we wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year!

See you at the Club,

Jim Kern, PGA General Manager
