Future of Golf Foundation Donor Application

A CENTURY OF SERVICE FLORIDA STATE GOLF ASSOCIATION Become an FSGA Foundation Member, and preserve and protect the future of golf.

Florida Junior Tour & Future of Golf Foundation: Dedicated to growing the game, the Florida Junior Tour was started in 2004. Junior golfers between the ages of 13 and 18 are eligible to play and compete in affordable priced events held throughout the year.

The Future of Golf Foundation was developed to provide college scholarships for the employees and the dependents of employees of our full member clubs, as well as to junior golfers that have previously competed in FSGA and FJT competitions. Because of the Future of Golf Foundation, a combined $40,000 has been given to recipients in each graduating class through the FSGA Scholars Program.

Championships: The FSGA conducts more than 470 days of competition each year, including 36 premier championships. These championships include the Amateur, Women’s Amateur, Amateur Public Links, Florida Open, Women’s Amateur Stroke Play, Senior, Boys Junior, Girls’ Junior, Parent-Child, Winter Series, Interclub, and a many others.

Volunteers: The FSGA is a volunteer-based organization and has more than 500 of the finest tournament and course rating committee members in the nation. The volunteers of the FSGA serve golf in a few categories, such as Rules Officials, Course Raters, and throughout Junior Golf Programs.

History: Formed in 1913 by a small group of golfers in Jacksonville, the Florida State Golf Association has grown to be the largest state golf association in the country, conducting championships, hosting junior events, coordinating course ratings, instructing Rule seminars, and supporting the USGA and their GHIN Handicap System.

Centennial Society Every club having 10 individuals join as an FSGA Foundation Member will be part of the Centennial Society. Clubs will be recognized through USGA GHIN eRevisions and the FSGA website.
