FRI 21 & SAT 22 OCT 7.30pm George and Noriko are a duo that bring something unique and unexpected. Known as the Japanese Blues Cowboy, George’s lightning-fast guitar and growling harmonica is enhanced by Noriko’s percussive sounds of the traditional shamisen, creating bluegrass hard country vibes with a Japanese twist.

MILAN RING

FRI 28 OCT 7.30pm A singer, rapper, guitarist, producer, mix and mastering engineer, Milan Ring meticulously curates each and every aspect of the creative process, from the first chord struck on the guitar to the final master. This one-woman powerhouse is unstoppable in this live performance, creating loops, dropping beats, and triggering samples all the while effortlessly leading with the guitar and drawing us in with her honest and unique vocals.

CLYPSO

SAT 29 OCT 7.30pm CLYPSO is a Sydney-based producer and vocalist, whose sound is a collage of hyperactive beats, grimey basslines, and tropical inspired electronica. Blending and blurring tongue-incheek samples over jungle beats and shiny synth riffs – it’s happypill music with a bit of bite.

FRI 4 NOV 7.30pm Borneo-born, Brisbane-based LÂLKA creates glitchy hyperpop with high-octane aesthetics. The producer, vocalist, multiinstrumentalist, and DJ presents her work through the lens of her own experiences as a queer woman of colour with grand ferocity and energy.

YEO

SAT 5 NOV 6.30pm Malaysian Australian musician and producer Yeo navigates the intersections of RnB, pop, and electronic music. His innovative instrumental arrangement, wry lyricism, and truly unique genre-bending explores themes of relationships, racial injustice, and conflict.

KUYA JAMES

SUN 6 NOV 7.30pm Kuya James is an award-winning, multifaceted and iconic producer based in Darwin. His musical influences range from traditional rhythms and samples blended with bass-heavy hip hop to retro Filipino pop, promising pulsating beats and party vibes that will get the dancefloor pumping.

RAINBOW CHAN

SAT 5 NOV 8pm Rainbow Chan is a vocalist, producer, and multidisciplinary artist who has built a reputation as one of the most innovative musicians in Australia. Driven by a DIY spirit, Chan melds catchy melodies and off-kilter beats made up of field-recordings and found sounds.
