His childhood fascination grew into a passion which has taken him across the world to study engineering at CPIT (now Ara Institute of Canterbury).

Inspired by the engineers she encountered at work, former digger driver Stephanie Crossan gained an engineering degree at Ara and now has the skills to design the diggers she used to drive.

Engineering graduate Ofa works for Skope as a design engineer. Richard enjoyed being able to study in the evenings while working part time, and the support from his tutors.

Electrical engineering graduate William Pauli-McCahon’s career has taken him to China where he runs Delta Strike International production facilities.
