HISTORICAL EXPLORE NATURE AND HISTORY AT LACKENBACH PALACE

Lackenbach Palace Museum has plenty to offer visitors interested in nature and in hunting. Hunting was an integral part of courtly life. The expansive Esterházy estates offered ample opportunity for the princes and their guests to partake in the hunt. Yet the woods so rich in game also attracted poachers. Thus this exhibition includes numerous hunting rifles and fowling guns owned by the Esterházy family, but also one used by poachers.

In The Heart Of Burgenland Pannonian Advent At Lackenbach Palace

Escape the Christmas bustle and enjoy an Advent weekend soaking up the unique atmosphere of the Renaissance palace at Lackenbach. The decorated palace, demonstrations of traditional arts and crafts, and delicious regional food create a Christmassy atmosphere in the courtyard. Immerse yourself in a Pannonian Advent: In the visitors’ wing, stallholders offer a variety of beautiful and unusual arts and crafts as well as natural products from the region.

Pedal Power In Central Burgenland Rail Trolley Tour
