Partido Popular initiate survey to “take the pulse of local business”

The importance of the hospitality and commerce sectors in the daily life of a municipality is paramount and for this reason Councillor Juani Vargas and the mayoral candidate, José Manuel Fernández have organised a survey.

José Manuel Fernández said that with this initiative "we want commerce and hospitality to continue to be a key part of the economy and for this we need to know your opinions".

This survey seeks to provide information about the most burning issues in the municipality: rubbish collection, cleaning, police presence, security, licences, fees, municipal payments, assistance, parking, promotion of the municipality, business and hospitality linked to a business action plan, among other issues.

The survey sheets in Spanish and English will be handed out during a personal visit to each business by members of our party who will take the opportunity to speak with each of them and learn first-hand about their concerns.

Shopkeepers and restaurateurs who wish to do so will be able to complete the fifteen-question survey of which, except for the last question, all are multiple choice. Each question has several answers to choose from. However, the final question is open and addresses the necessary improvements that should be undertaken by the Council to promote local commerce. From the proposals that come out of the survey, we also intend to integrate your ideas into our electoral programme in May, as well as to take actions and present motions so that they are forward to the Town Council.
