Remember the good old days when it didn’t cost an arm and a leg to go out for dinner? One of the blokes on our table summed it up. ‘That’s such good value you’d think it’s the nineties,’ he said, referring to the incredibly well-priced menu tempting diners at the Coolamon Tree Bistro, at Mullumbimby’s ExServices Club. There are excellent daily specials, such as a Chicken Parmigiana lunch for only $8 and a Battered Snapper dinner that doesn’t break the bank at $13.
