NORPA 2015 SEASON
A world of theatre
BEYOND by CIRCA
THE 26-STOREY TREEHOUSE
27 & 28 MARCH $22–49
17 JULY $22–41
There is a line between human and animal, between madness and sanity, between logic and dream. Contemporary circus stars Circa invite you to step over this line… and go beyond. Audiences have come to expect the earth from Circa – Beyond gives you the moon as well.
Andy and Terry are back! They had such a ball with their crash-landing entry into the world of theatre with sellout stage adaptation of The 13-Storey Treehouse that they’re back for more – 13 storeys more, in fact. And you’re invited!
CABARET DIVA BEYOND by CIRCA
8 & 9 MAY $22–41 Two powerhouse divas, Christa Hughes and Bethan Ellsmore, light up the stage in an evening of song and sassiness. Prizes for best fancy-dressed patron!
AUSTRALIA DAY 23 & 24 JUNE $22–49
RAILWAY WONDERLAND by NORPA
The Australia Day committee is gearing up to put on their country town’s biggest bash – but everyone wants a piece of the party pie. Will the day be fair dinkum after all? Or are there too many roos loose in the community hall? A thoroughly modern ripper of a comedy, by acclaimed satirist Jonathan Biggins (Sydney Theatre Company, The Wharf Revue).
26 February 18, 2015 The Byron Shire Echo
COUNTRY SONG by Queensland Theatre Company 13, 14 & 15 AUGUST $22–49 Indigenous singing superstar Jimmy Little is about to sing for Queen Elizabeth at the opening of the Sydney Opera House in 1973. But the words won’t come. An emotive new work by Queensland Theatre Company celebrating the healing power of music.
