It is Easter, and thoughts of the Passion and death of Jesus have been wiped away by the overwhelming joy that Christ is risen from the dead. The disciples in the upper room were so incredulous for joy that Jesus had to say twice, “Peace be with you,” before they could calm down. The sorrow, pain and even guilt of the previous days seemed to have disappeared, and all is rosy.
