SPECIAL EVENTS

It was wonderful to host in-person special events for our families and the Lexington community.

PATRIOT DAY CHAPEL

LCA 6th Grade Academy and Junior High students hosted special Patriot Day Chapels to remember and honor the 20th anniversary of 9/11. The chapels included students narrating a presentation showing the timeline of events of that day and having a special prayer. Matt Ginter, former MLB pitcher, LCA parent and a current assistant coach for the LCA Baseball team, was the guest speaker. Ginter was in New York City on the morning of 9/11 since the Chicago White Sox were scheduled to play the New York Yankees that night. He and other members from the team had planned to be at the World Trade Center area the morning of 9/11, but they overslept. He described being in NYC that day and answered several questions from students about the events and what it was like in the days that followed

NATIONAL JERSEY DAY

Our students and staff had a great day supporting their favorite teams on National Jersey Day!

ROSE CAMPUS OPEN HOUSE

Our 6th-12th grade student ambassadors did a fantastic job of welcoming and giving tours to guests at our Rose Campus open house.

BACK TO SCHOOL CELEBRATION

We had a great time at our Back to School Celebration on September 17, 2021. It was wonderful to have our families on campus together for food, fun, and fellowship. We want to issue a special thanks to our friends at White, Greer & Maggard for sponsoring this annual event.

Each fall, our students enjoy a fun-filled week to celebrate their school spirit. This year was no different with our faculty, staff, and students enjoying some new dress up themes such as scholars vs. ballers, country vs. country club and class color wars.

VETERANS DAY CHAPELS

What a blessing it was to celebrate Veterans Day during the week of November 8, 2021 with special chapel programs. Our IBC Campus hosted and honored veterans during their chapels, heard taped messages from veterans, and also spent time praying for our veterans. Our Rose Campus hosted four veterans who discussed their service and answered students' questions.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

From fun dress up days to concerts and chapels, both of our campuses had a fun week celebrating Christmas.
