Muitas das horas de nosso treinamento visam tornar nossos talentos aptos a desempenhar novas funções. Treinamos para o futuro e esse é o nosso diferencial. E, para tornar a experiência do aprendizado ainda mais proveitosa e agradável, contamos com 160 salas de treinamento com recursos multimídia e 437 instrutores. Outros bons exemplos de programas com esse objetivo são o Degrau, criado para identificar e treinar colaboradores com perfil de liderança para que possam ocupar as próximas oportunidades, e Apareça e Cresça, destinado a promover os colaboradores com base na meritocracia. O processo, com regras definidas e transparentes, resultou na promoção de 4,3 mil colaboradores no ano passado. Também promovemos, em 2007, a ampliação do programa Crescer, que, graças à parceria com conceituadas universidades, proporciona a realização do maior sonho dos nossos colaboradores, que é cursar o ensino superior. O desembolso dos alunos não ultrapassa 10% de seu salário, ficando o restante sob responsabilidade da Contax. É uma grande satisfação participar de mais esse estágio de aprendizado na vida de 420 colaboradores. E os resultados apresentados, como a promoção de 23% dos colaboradores que fazem parte do programa, nos fazem perseguir a meta de expandir o curso de Gestão de Contact Center, ao longo dos próximos anos, a outras regiões em que atuamos. Ao mesmo tempo, nos sentimos muito honrados com o fato de esse curso, que é o primeiro do País focado na formação de gestores de contact center, ser fruto de uma idéia da Contax.

Other courses aim to train our talents in new activities. We train for the future and that is our differential. To make the training experience more pleasant and efficient, we have 160 training rooms with multimedia resources and 437 instructors. Other good examples of programs with this aim are the ‘Degrau’ (Step), which identifies and trains employees that have leadership traits, for their next opportunities; and the ‘Apareça e Cresça’ (Show up and Grow) program which promotes employees based on merit. The process, with defined and transparent rules, resulted in the promotion of 4,300 employees last year. In 2007, we also promoted the ‘Crescer’ (Growth) program which, thanks to the partnership with well-known universities, has helped to make possible the biggest dream of our employees, which is to have a graduate degree. Students only spend 10% of their salaries on the course, the remainder being paid by Contax. It is a great satisfaction to participate in yet another stage of the training of 420 of our employees. The results of the program, such as the promotion of 23% of the participating employees, encourage us to expand the contact center management course, during the coming years, to other regions in which we operate. We feel honored that this course, the first in the country focused on contact center management, was idealized by Contax. None of the actions above would have any meaning if we did not give importance to another aspect, which is the well-being of Contax’s People. The professional development programs are also motivational for the team, since they contribute to each employee’s personal development. We also understand that, for an excellent client service, it is fundamental that employees work in comfort and have their rights respected. We have benefits comparable to other large companies, with special attention given to the work premises, with modern buildings, ergonomically suitable furniture and recreation areas which are suitable for social interaction. Thus, our operators, who have no less than 160 million contacts with clients every month, are able to treat each one of them with the same disposition and enthusiasm. We also promote activities to answer to the specific needs of our employees, as well as social actions such as the “Warm Clothes Campaign” and “Christmas without Hunger” which helps them reflect on their social responsibilities. Other activities developed in our units are workplace exercises to fight sedentary habits, the “Birth” program for expectant mothers, and “Light Life” program for healthy eating. Investing in the quality of life of our employees, is not only a responsible attitude, but also a way to motivate them to grow with the Company.
