All kinds of movie action this week, as Werner Herzog’s new documentary Encounters at the End of the World, pictured here, headlines the Grays Reef Ocean Film Festival. In addition, local multiplexes begin an actual, honest-to-goodness art-house series (page 32), the Savannah Gay & Lesbian Film Series kicks off (also page 32), and Reel Savannah brings in the acclaimed Man on Wire (page 34), in addition to weekly offerings by the Savannah Film Society and the Psychotronic Film Society. It’s all inside. By linda sickler | 11
