People Serving People (PSP) is a non-profit that serves homeless families in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Working in collaboration with The Pearson Foundation’s New Learning Institute, PSP is interested in expanding much needed on-site resources and programming for their teen population. The research and analysis that follows was compiled over the course of 12 weeks, and reflects a process of working directly with all members of the PSP community to better understand and align their diverse perspectives, needs, and voices. The purpose of this study is to assess the unmet needs and potentials of PSP’s teens, as well as ways to more meaningfully engage and empower them creatively.
