Brisbane Boys’ College is delighted to welcome you to our College

With each new season, we look forward to renewing our acquaintances with friends from the other GPS School communities. This year, we celebrate 105 years of association and friendly competition, built on mutual respect, friendly rivalry and fair play – tenets of even greater significance as we continue to be influenced by the effects of COVID-19.

We want all students to enjoy sport and to understand the benefits of physical activity, and we encourage our charges to strive for excellence, while impressing on them the importance of team spirit and sportsmanship. Similarly, we encourage all parents and spectators to set an example of good sportsmanship, respect for fair play and applauding the endeavours displayed by both teams. With this in mind, I draw your attention to the GPS Codes of Behaviour found in this program.

Additionally, given the requirements of Queensland Health, and in the interest of preserving the safety of all in our community, I would ask that you follow all COVID-safe measures while on campus. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.

On behalf of the College community, I would like to thank all staff, coaches, parents, Old Boys and friends of our schools for their support of our Co-curricular programs, and for their contribution to the success of our sports and activities. This spirit of fellowship and positive intent will be remembered long after the scores of the match are a distant memory.

I do hope that you enjoy Round 9 of fixtures and feel most welcome as our guests.
