FEATURES 12/A Fine LIne Documentary filmmaker Andrea Nix Fine ’91 and her husband and co-director, Sean Fine, wanted their film War/Dance to tell the world the story of children living in a refugee camp in war-torn northern Uganda. The world watched, as War/Dance was nominated for an Academy Award.

24/Having a Ball in Japan Larry Rocca ’90 made the jump just in time. The former baseball beat writer, now in the front office of the Chiba Lotte Marines baseball team in Tokyo, is a catalyst in the historic melding of two baseball cultures.

19/Different Prescriptions Some Colby students are bringing new meaning to “premed.” Instead of devoting themselves strictly to science, they are studying everything from drama to philosophy before entering medical school. It’s a path they recommend.
