We gathered as many of we could for this year’s Holiday Traditions feature so that our readers can find what they need to make the season special. Whether you want to check on the dates of your favorite holiday light show or are looking to add a marathon to your November schedule, we’ve got you covered in the following pages.

Cincinnati Museum Center: Holiday Traditions Nov. 2-Dec. 31 The Cincinnati Museum Center offers nine festive events during the holiday season! The Harry Potter Building Party allows guests to build Harry Potter-themed designs with LEGO bricks, and enjoy a special performance of the famous Harry Potter score on the museum’s E.M. Skinner organ in the Rotunda. A Winter Solstice Celebration, spanning one weekend, celebrates holiday traditions from around the world. Capping off the holiday traditions is the International New Years Eve Celebration. Various countries’ holiday traditions are represented with music, games and activities. A Christmas Story: the Musical Nov. 4-Dec. 31 La Comedia Dinner Theatre brings this classic holiday story to life, telling the hilarious story of Ralphie’s quest to put the perfect gift under the Christmas tree. Nov. 6-8 More than 60 shops and restaurants will take visitors back in time for Waynesville’s old-fashioned holiday open house. Take advantage of free recipes from select restaurants and local crafters displaying their abilities. Nov. 7 The 10th annual Fighting Hunger 5K Run and Walk benefits locally based humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization Matthew 25: Ministries. Also kicking off during this event is the food drive benefiting local food pantries and shelters. The big after party brings great fun including face painting, chocolate fountain, music and, of course, plenty of food. Christmas Belles Nov. 6-22 This out-of-control southern comedy by Jamie Wooten, Jessie Jones and Nicholas Hope about a church Christmas program will have the audience filled with joy and laughter. The hilarious mishaps on Christmas Eve are also a part of the fun, presented by the Mariemont Players at the Walton Creek Theater. Times vary.
