Ο Χάρης Χαραλάμπους είναι αριστούχος της Αρχιτεκτονικής Σχολής του Εθνικού Μετσόβιου Πολυτεχνείου Αθηνών, και του έχει απονεμηθεί το

αργυρό μετάλλιο της σχολής αφού αποφοίτησε τρίτος στο έτος του. Είναι κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού τίτλου από το UCL Λονδίνου στον τομέα του

παραμετρικού σχεδιασμού, όπου φοίτησε με υποτροφία και αποφοίτησε με άριστα. Είναι εγγεγραμμένος αρχιτέκτονας στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο

και στην Κύπρο, ενώ έχει εργοδοτηθεί στους Foster + Partners Λονδίνου, στους Αρμεύτης & Συνεργάτες και Μαυρομμάτης & Συνεργάτες Λεμεσού.

Η προσωπική του δουλειά περιλαμβάνει μελέτες και ολοκληρωμένα έργα διαφόρων μεγεθών και κλιμάκων, στα πλαίσια ιδιωτικών αναθέσεων και μέσω της συμμετοχής σε αρχιτεκτονικούς διαγωνισμούς.

Εχει εργασθεί σε πληθώρα έργων σε όλα τα στάδια της μελέτης, από την αρχική

μέχρι τον συντονισμό των υπόλοιπων

μελετητών και την επίβλεψη της κατασκευής. Η επαγγελματική του εμπειρία περιλαμβάνει έργα όπως ουρανοξύστες, σχολεία, ξενοδοχεία, θέατρα, αστικές αναπλάσεις, δημόσιες πλατείες, επαγγελματικές στέγες, κτίρια μικτών χρήσεων και οικιστικές μονάδες.

Charis Charalampous holds a diploma in Architecture from the National Technical University of Athens, from which he graduated with distinction and so was awarded the silver medal of the school for graduating third among all graduates that year. He received an MSc in Adaptive Architecture and Computation from the UCL (University College London), where he attended on a scholarship and graduated with distinction. He is a registered Architect in the United Kingdom and in Cyprus, and has worked for Foster + Partners in London and also for Armeftis & Associates and Mavrommatis & Associates in Limassol Cyprus.

His personal work comprises of studies and completed projects of various sizes and scales through private commissions and participating in architectural competitions.

He was involved in numerous projects at all stages of the study, from the initial concept design to the coordination of the design team and the supervision of the construction phase. His professional experience includes projects such as skyscrapers, schools, hotels, theaters, urban regeneration, public squares, business premises, mixed use buildings and private houses.

-a method is developed as to produce varying scales of aperiodic spatial tiling, based on a script I developed in Processing Beta 0118. -the responsive growth of such a tiling, is introduced and led into the sculptural and the architectural scale -the method is developed on Danzer packing, which derives from subdividing 4 prototiles, using the shape grammar formalism. activation and deactivation of rules as the tiling grows is a response to a simulated environment on which it is projected -different connectivity of the tiling produced, mainly centroid connectivity, produce varying patterns and spatial entities that can support scenarios of various scales

-allows the simulation on the same surface in different environments that can be used as buffer images.

-it is triggered through the presence of people, which are attracted to it whenever the performance, inserted in real time with a microphone, is considered to converge with the original performance of the song, which is previously uploaded.

-considers density of people and spatial configuration, providing an understanding of a situated action, and not merely a singing device.

-ένα σύστημα δημιουργείται από τις επιφάνειες σκυροδέματος οι οποίες ξεπροβάλλουν από το έδαφος και από τα σκουριασμένα

κελύφη που τις καλύπτουν, και θυμίζουν πλοία που βγαίνουν σην στεριά γεφυρώνοντας το όριο στεριάς και θάλασσας

-τα κτίρια-πτυχώσεις προκύπτουν μέσα από τις υπάρχουσες φυγές και κατευθύνσεις κινήσεις, και προσπαθούν να εκτρέψουν

-intervention in the area occupied by the old port of the town, which was historically the birthplace of the town and the point that connected it with the wider region

-a system is formed by the concrete surfaces that pop up from the ground and the rusted metal shells that cover them

-the buildings that are produced through the intervention resemble old ships that enter the urban landscape and skyline in an organic way, and act as a bridge above the boundary line between the land and the sea

-the buildings-foldings derive from the existing directions of movement and try to divert the initial direction of movement, proposing alternative routes that correlate the fragments, and thus propose diverse possible ways that one can explore the existing and proposed landscape
