Morcheeba concert June 24, Arenele Romane

Sibiu International Theatre Festival June 24 – July 3, several locations in Sibiu

For this edition of the festival, a total of 575 theatre, contemporary circus, and dance performances are scheduled in Sibiu, in central Romania. More than 3,300 participants are expected at the event, and a total of 30,000 tickets are available for 116 onsite performances. If you don’t get your ticket, don’t worry: the festival’s programme also includes 170 open-air performances.

Postmodern Jukebox concert June 28, Arenele Romane

The Postmodern Jukebox popjazz phenomenon continues its world concert tour, which began in 2021, titled “The Grand Reopening Tour.” They are enticing audiences with a sensational party in the style of the ‘20s, with a live performance from the Great Gatsby times. Tickets still available.

JazzX Festival July 1-3, Timisoara

JAZZx is going to be a mix of jazz, contemporary instrumental music, and emerging projects that go beyond the boundaries of musical genres. So far, the festival has announced Stanley Clarke N 4EVER, Hiromi - The Piano Quintet, Ashley Henry Trio, Theon Cross, Ilhan Ersahin’s Istanbul Session, Lucy Woodward, Radu Valcu Quintet, Muntet, and TajNic Trio. Attendance is free of charge.

Pet Shop Boys concert July 4, Arenele Romane

The Pet Shop Boys will return to Bucharest after 14 years, in their “Greatest Hits Live” world tour. The band is one of the most successful duos in the UK’s music history, with over 22 singles in the UK Top 10. Tickets now on sale.

Placebo concert July 13, Romexpo

Beloved band Placebo, one of the most popular musical groups in the UK, is coming back to Bucharest. It was founded in 1994 by soloist and guitarist Brian Molko and bassist Stefan Olsdal, both of whom continue to play with the band. The band has released seven studio albums so far, all of which have reached the TOP 20 in the UK and have sold over 11 million units worldwide. Tickets are available.
