1969 Robert Selkowitz is the proud grandfather of Avery Elizabeth Waskiewicz, born October 16 to Robert’s daughter Bhakta and Matthew Waskiewicz. See photo 01. 1975 Rick Ford is currently writing a book about his experiences as the forgotten mascot for the New York Yankees. He was encouraged to take on the story after the overwhelming response from a Wall Street Journal article, “Yankees’ Long Forgotten Mascot,” which provided information about this unwritten piece of Yankee history.
