Summer Filmmaking Camp

Sponsored by Dan Wieden & Priscilla Bernard Wieden on behalf of Caldera Arts

Since 2021, BendFilm has hosted two weeks of summer flmmaking camps. Twenty students entering 5th through 9th grades participate in a fun, fve-day flmmaking workshop intensive. The students formed four-member groups to develop a story, learn green screen technology, apply their own effects makeup, and learn flm shooting techniques and basic editing skills. For the last day of camp, the students all gather in the Tin Pan Theater to watch their creations at the weekend celebration. Film camps are affordable and also free for students on the free and reduced lunch program. Stay tuned for registration information coming this winter!
