ATLANTA SPOTLIGHTS SPRING

Relive Million Dollar Quartet with Alabama Shakespeare Festival

In December 1956, a twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, and Elvis Presley together for a legendary jam session at Sam Phillips’ Sun Records in Memphis. Relive that magical night at ASF this spring with Million Dollar Quartet, featuring classics such as “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Hound Dog,” and more.

In May, ASF brings Lynn Nottage’s Tonynominated Clyde’s to the Octagon Stage. A truck-stop café provides its formerly incarcerated staff with a purpose and reason to dream — “sometimes a hero is more than a sandwich.” Clyde’s is produced in partnership with the Equal Justice Initiative and Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
