have been obsessed with upholstered headboards for a very long time. It first started when I saw this beautiful butter-colored suede one that cost, oh, about $3,000. Over the years, I’ve thought about getting a new headboard, even going so far as to bookmark a couple of websites that walk you through making one yourself. But I’m realistic enough to know that despite my dreams of being super crafty, any attempt at a do-it-yourself project would be an utter failure. Continued on page 39
