ФАБІАН ХЬОРМАНН ІНЖЕНЕР, АРХІТЕКТОР, EM2N, ШВЕЙЦАРІЯ член Журі конкурсу «Благоустрій центральної частини м. Києва до Євро-2012», майстерклас, учасник виставки 2004 – отримав диплом Штутгартського університету 2004 – приєднався до архітектурного бюро EM2N 2009 – став одним з директорів EM2N Архітектори EM2N мають на меті створювати архітектуру, яка була б водночас міцною і особистісною і яка могла би у подальшому розкривати власний характер. Часом їхні проекти викликають неоднозначну реакцію у публіки, але автори не бачать у цьому великої проблеми. Створені ними архітектурні об’єкти можуть подобатися чи, напроти, викликати неприязнь, але нікого не залишать байдужими. Архітектори EM2N впевнені, що не буває одного єдиного правильного рішення. Усі проекти цієї студії мають справу з непередбаченим і навіть з випадковим. Саме тому, їхні автори схильні мислити сценаріями, працювати з гіпотетичними припущеннями і моделювати опозиційні варіанти подальшого розвитку. Кожна з цих проекцій випливає з різних припущень і має свою власну історію. Зі слів архітекторів EM2N, цю мету можна вважати досягнутою, якщо створений ними проект говорить сам за себе у контексті міської тканини.

As a result our projects may polarize the public, which is fine with us. One may love or hate our architecture, but one should never be left indifferent. We are convinced that there never is just one solution. Our projects must cope with the unforeseen, even the accidental. Therefore, we tend to think in scenarios, we work with hypotheses and generate oppositional alternatives. Each one of these projections into the future originates from different assumptions and has its own history or story to tell. We are convinced that there never is just one solution.
