Since 1911, Johnson County Public Library has worked toward improving the quality of life for all citizens of Johnson County, Indiana. For more than one hundred years JCPL has provided you with courteous, knowledgeable and efficient service, and access to a broad diversity of information through resources and programs. Today we offer four branches, a Library Services Center and a virtual branch. From book clubs and family fun days, to canning classes and storytime, your library has a full schedule of engaging programs year-round. Registration for many of our programs fills quickly. Visit the website, call or visit a branch to register now!

Why are there fewer Franklin Branch programs? The Franklin Branch will be temporarily closed beginning November 23 for renovations. The project is expected to take about three weeks to complete with a projected re-opening in mid-December. Candy & Canvas for Kids: Star Wars! 

Woofs and Books Canine Reading Buddies

Safe Sitter Class 

Teens (ages 11–13) Sat / Jan 23 / 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Safe Sitter is a full day babysitting course recognized by the American Academy of Pediatrics. It teaches 11–13 year olds how to be safe and nurturing caregivers and to handle emergencies. Please bring a sack lunch. $25.00 is due day of class. Registration forms may be picked up at any branch library and must be filled out by parent/guardian.

Middle Grade Book Club: The Strange Case of Origami Yoda
