be carefully watching the deliberations at this summer’s General Conference session in San
Antonio, Texas, where the question of whether
to allow divisions of the world church to decide about the ordination of women to the gospel ministry will be put to the delegates. This article addresses, not that issue, but instead the growing experience of female pastors serving Adventist congregations in North America, a practice fully in harmony with voted church
policy and previous General Conference session actions (cf. BA 60 10).—Editors
