T
hey have transformed the former Gorilla Bar into a modern Italian rustic restaurant - all dark wood, checked tablecloths, and red, white and green. But it's the food that takes pride of place. Felice (of Il Felice fame for those who remember way back when) hails from Tuscany and is passionate about Tuscan cuisine. Pasta is a speciality, handcrafted on site using traditional techniques, but the menu, which includes plenty of sharing plates, offers much more. From the Apperitivi (palate teasing

with salt, pepper, olive oil and fresh herbs, the choice is designed to cater for every member of every family. Dine inside or in the sheltered, heated al fresco area, Casa Nostra opens at 5pm seven days. Bookings are advised and takeout dining is available.
