A gold tau-shaped parasol handle, enamelled in translucent scarlet over a guillochĂŠ ground, embellished with gold diamond-set stripes, the thumb terminal set with a larger rosecut diamond, the lower rim further decorated with a band diamonds; mounted with a period lace parasol, apparently by the original owner.
