Moscow, 1899-1908 struck with Fabergé hallmark (K.F. in Cyrillic), assay master’s initials (I.L. in Cyrillic for Ivan Lyebedkin), gold mark of 56 zolotniks, scratched with Fabergé inventory no. 16790 height: 3.9 cm

Purchased by Wartski from the Antikvariat on 13 February 1932 for £14 and sold to an English private collector

A gold and enamel miniature frame; the circular aperture within a pearl-set bezel, flanked by a stylised laurel leaves enamelled in green over a guilloché ground, supported on two similarly enamelled orange leaves centred by a drop set with fourteen rose diamonds; with a sealed gold back and a scrolled gold strut.
