A large tapering paper knife carved from a single piece of nephrite, mounted with a gold handle enamelled in translucent salmon over a guilloché ground, the front of the mount applied with a finely chased yellow gold laurel wreath tied with red gold ribbons, edged with similarly tied yellow gold laurels against a red gold ground and topped with a red gold latticework decorated with dot and dash and flower motives.
