Van Gogh acrylic colour is a versatile paint with a rich palette of 40 strong and brilliant colours. The acrylic paint is pasty so that the brush stroke remains clearly visible. You can also mix the paint with water to make it thinner or more transparent. Acrylic colours are indelible when dry. Due to the short drying time it is possible to paint various layers over one another relatively quickly. The high degree of lightfastness ensures that the works of art retain their lively and original colours for a very long time. Van Gogh acrylic colours do justice to your creations.

• The colours of Van Gogh acrylics are strong and brilliant, thanks to the high content of pigment and the finely ground, purest pigments. • Van Gogh acrylic colour is a pasty paint so the brush stroke remains clearly visible. • Van Gogh acrylic colour offers a choice from four gradations of opacity (transparent, semi-transparent, semi-opaque and opaque). • The paint is good to highly lightfast, so that the works of art retain their original condition for a very long time.

VAN GOGH ACRYLIC COLOUR OFFERS MANY POSSIBILITIES Van Gogh acrylic colour is a versatile paint that can be used in various ways. Some examples:

LAYERED PAINTING

It is possible to apply acrylic colours in almost unlimited numbers of layers, pure or thinned with water. The paintâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s drying time depends on the layer thickness, the temperature and the humidity, but is relatively short. It is therefore possible to work quickly! The use of (semi-) opaque colours is preferred (indicated on the tube with colour underneath should no longer be visible.

MIXED TECHNIQUE

The versatility of acrylic colours is also shown in a mixed technique. Due to the excellent adhesive strength of acrylic colours it is possible to incorporate all kinds of materials which you would not usually paint, such as paper, carton, fabric and sand. Fine materials such as sand, sawdust and small stones have to be mixed in the paint well before applying them to the painting. Express your creativity!

PALETTE KNIFE TECHNIQUE

With a palette knife it is possible to apply flat brush strokes and strong textures in any desired thickness. The bottom of the knife is highly suited for both mixing paint on the palette and applying the paint. A palette knife is easy to clean with an old cloth or a tissue.

VAN GOGH BRUSHES For every painting technique the right brush! There is a complete series of brushes available in the Van Gogh range. The Van Gogh brushes are made with care and craftsmanship. There are various brush forms and hair types of excellent quality from which to choose. For acrylic colours it is best to use brushes with firm hairs due to the wear resistance of the hair bundle. Series 210 and 211 (hog bristle) for thinned and unthinned paint.

Series 232, 234 and 235 (ox hair) and series 250 (Iltis/ox hair), for thinned paint, glazing and fine art techniques.

Series 294, 295 and 296 (polyester fibres) for thinned and unthinned paint.

HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR BRUSHES? • Keep the brushes wet during the work, so that the paint cannot dry. • After use clean brushes well using soap and warm water. • After cleaning shape the hair again. • Store your brushes in an upright position with the hair pointing up.

• Stretched canvas: stretched canvas of prepared linen or cotton in various sizes and models. There are also 3D canvases available, with extra wide, paintable sides. • Canvas boards: prepared cotton, stretched on MDF board in various sizes. Van Gogh acrylic colours can be used on all sorts of grounds such as paper, cardboard, wood and stone provided these are free of grease and sufficiently absorbent.

AUXILIARIES FOR VAN GOGH ACRYLIC COLOURS Auxiliaries are not really necessary when working with acrylic colours as acrylic colours can just be thinned with water. Yet some auxiliaries can be useful to provide special effects. Under the brand name Amsterdam, Royal Talens offers a wide range of auxiliaries for acrylic colours in various packages.

ACRYLIC COLOUR

Acrylic medium gloss 012 and matt 117: makes the paint thinner and more transparent. Due to the acrylic resin present the pigments are optimally protected. Gel medium 094 / 080, Heavy gel medium 015 / 020 and Extra heavy gel medium 021 / 022: milky-white pastes that, when used pure, dry up colourless and transparent. When mixed with acrylic colours they provide the paint with more volume, texture and brush stroke. Due to the high adhesive strength it is ideal for mixed techniques in combination with the most diverse materials, such as sand, little stones, wood, paper and cardboard. Every type is available in both gloss and matt. Modeling paste 1003: for making relief grounds and textured paint layers, if desired mixed with acrylic colours. Thickening medium 040: makes the paint very thick without the colour becoming any lighter or losing any of its colour intensity. Improves the brush stroke considerably. Acrylic Retarder 070: delays the drying process of acrylic colours so that it is possible to work wet-on-wet a little longer. Use this product sparingly. Acrylic varnish 114 / 115: to protect your painting and for an even degree of sheen. Available in a gloss and a matt version, both in bottle and spray can. VAN GOGH ACRYLVERF BIEDT VEEL MOGELIJKHEDEN Van Gogh acrylverf is een veelzijdige verf die op verschillende manieren gebruikt kan worden. Enkele voorbeelden:

GELAAGD SCHILDEREN

Je kunt acrylverf vrijwel onbeperkt in lagen aanbrengen, puur of verdund met water. De droogtijd van de verf is afhankelijk van de laagdikte, de temperatuur en de luchtvochtigheid, maar is relatief zeer kort. Je kunt dus lekker snel doorwerken! Gebruik bij voorkeur (half) dekkende kleuren (op de tube aangegeven met onderliggende kleur niet meer zichtbaar mag zijn.

GEMENGDE TECHNIEK

De veelzijdigheid van acrylverf komt ook tot uiting bij een gemengde techniek. Door de zeer goede kleefkracht van acrylverf kun je allerlei verfvreemde materialen zoals bijvoorbeeld papier, karton, textiel en zand in de verf verwerken. Fijn materiaal als zand, zaagsel en steentjes moet je goed door de verf mengen voordat je het op je schilderij aanbrengt. Laat je creativiteit spreken!

MESTECHNIEK

Met een schildersmes kun je in elke gewenste dikte vlakke verftoetsen en sterke structuren aanbrengen. De onderkant van het mes is uitstekend geschikt voor zowel het mengen van de verf op het palet als voor het aanbrengen van de verf. Een schildersmes kun je eenvoudig reinigen met een oude lap of een tissue.

ACRYLVERF

VAN GOGH PENSELEN Voor elke schildertechniek het juiste penseel! In het Van Gogh assortiment is een complete serie penselen verkrijgbaar. De Van Gogh penselen worden met zorg en vakmanschap gemaakt. Je kunt kiezen uit diverse haarsoorten en penseelvormen van uitstekende kwaliteit. Voor acrylverf kun je het beste penselen gebruiken met stevige haren vanwege de slijtvastheid van de haarbundel. Series 210 en 211 (varkenshaar) voor onverdunde en verdunde verf.

Series 232, 234 en 235 (runderorenhaar) voor verdunde verf, glaceren en fijnschildertechnieken.

Series 294, 295 en 296 (polyestervezel) voor onverdunde en verdunde verf.

HOE VERZORG JE PENSELEN? • Houd penselen tijdens het werken nat, zodat de verf niet in kan drogen. • Maak penselen na gebruik goed schoon met warm water en zeep. • Breng de haren na het schoonmaken weer in model. • Bewaar penselen rechtop met het haar naar boven.

ONDERGRONDEN VOOR ACRYLVERF ROYAL TALENS BIEDT EEN BREED ASSORTIMENT HOOGWAARDIGE ONDERGRONDEN VOOR ACRYLVERF:

• Spieramen: opgespannen doek van geprepareerd linnen of katoen in diverse afmetingen en uitvoeringen. Er zijn ook 3D doeken met extra brede beschilderbare zijkanten verkrijgbaar. • Canvas boards: geprepareerd katoen, gespannen op MDF board in diverse afmetingen. Van Gogh acrylverf kan op allerlei andere ondergronden gebruikt worden, zoals papier, karton, hout en steen mits deze vetvrij zijn en voldoende absorberen.

ACRYLVERF

HULPMIDDELEN VOOR VAN GOGH ACRYLVERF Eigenlijk zijn hulpmiddelen bij acrylverf niet per se noodzakelijk. Acrylverf is namelijk gewoon met water te verdunnen. Toch kunnen sommige hulpmiddelen nuttig zijn of speciale effecten geven. Royal Talens biedt onder het merk Amsterdam een uitgebreid assortiment hulpmiddelen voor acrylverf in verschillende verpakkingen.

Acrylmedium glanzend 012 en mat 117: maakt de verf dunner en transparanter. Door de aanwezige acrylaathars worden de pigmenten optimaal beschermd. Gel medium 094 / 080, Heavy gel medium 015 / 020 en Extra heavy gel medium 021 / 022: melkwitte pastaâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s die bij puur gebruik kleurloos en transparant opdrogen. Geven gemengd met acrylverf meer volume, structuur en penseelstreek aan de verf. Door de hoge kleefkracht bij uitstek geschikt voor gemengde technieken in combinatie met de meest uiteenlopende materialen, zoals zand, steentjes, hout, papier en karton. Elk type is verkrijgbaar in zowel glanzend als mat. Modelleerpasta 1003: voor het maken van reliĂŤfondergronden en gestructureerde verflagen, al dan niet vermengd met acrylverf. Verdikkingsmedium 040: voor het maken van zeer dikke verf zonder dat de kleur lichter wordt of aan kleurkracht verliest. Bevordert de penseelstreek aanzienlijk. Acryl Retarder 070: vertraagt de droging van acrylverf, zodat wat langer nat-in-nat kan worden gewerkt. Dit product spaarzaam gebruiken. Acrylvernis 114 / 115: om het schilderij te beschermen en voor een egale glansgraad. Verkrijgbaar in een glanzende en matte versie, zowel in flacon als spuitbus. Acrylverwijderaar 013: verwijdert opgedroogde resten acrylverf uit penselen.

IN SCHICHTEN MALEN

Man kann Acrylfarbe in unbegrenzter Anzahl an Schichten auftragen, pur oder mit Wasser verdünnt. Die Trocknungszeit ist abhängig von der Schichtdicke, der Temperatur und der Luftfeuchtigkeit, allgemein aber relativ kurz. Auf diese Weise können Sie zügig weiterarbeiten! Vorzugsweise (halb)deckende Farbtöne verwenden (auf der Tube mit oder

ACRYLFARBE

MISCHTECHNIK

Die Vielseitigkeit von Acrylfarbe zeigt sich auch bei der Mischtechnik. Aufgrund der hohen Klebkraft von Acrylfarbe kann man vielerlei farbfremde Materialien wie z.B. Papier, Karton, Textil oder Sand in der Farbe verarbeiten. Feines Material wie Sand, Sägemehl oder Steinchen müssen erst sorgfältig durch die Farbe gemischt werden, bevor sie auf dem Bild aufgetragen werden. Lassen Sie Ihrer Kreativität freien Lauf!

MESSERTECHNIK

Mit einem Malmesser kann man jeden gewünschten Durchmesser an flachen Farbklecksen und deutliche Strukturen auftragen. Die Unterseite des Messers eignet sich hervorragend sowohl für das Mischen der Farbe auf der Palette als auch für das Auftragen der Farbe. Man kann ein Malmesser einfach mit einem alten Lappen oder Taschentuch reinigen.

ACRYLFARBE

VAN GOGH PINSEL Für jede Maltechnik der richtige Pinsel! Im Van Gogh Sortiment ist eine komplette Pinselserie erhältlich. Die Van Gogh Pinsel werden sorgfältig und fachmännisch hergestellt. Sie haben die Wahl aus unterschied-lichen Pinselformen und Haarsorten von hervorragender Qualität. Für Acrylfarbe eignen sich Pinsel aus festen Haaren am besten aufgrund der Widerstandsfähigkeit des Haarbündels. Serie 210 und 211 (Schweinsborsten) für unverdünnte und verdünnte Farbe.

Serie 232, 234 und 235 (Rinderohrenhaar) und Serie 250 (Iltis/Rinderohrenhaar), für verdünnte Farbe, zum Lasieren und für das Malen von Details.

Serie 294, 295 und 296 (Polyesterfaser) für unverdünnte und verdünnte Farbe.

PINSELPFLEGE • Halten Sie die Pinsel während des Arbeitens feucht, so dass die Farbe im Haarbündel nicht eintrocknen kann. • Reinigen Sie die Pinsel nach Gebrauch sorgfältig mit warmem Wasser und Seife • Formen Sie nach dem Reinigen das Haarbündel wieder in seine ursprüngliche Form. • Lagern sie die Pinsel aufrecht mit dem Haar nach oben.

• Keilrahmen: aufgespannte Leinwand aus präpariertem Leinen oder Baumwolle in diversen Formaten und Ausführungen. Auch 3D Keilrahmen mit extrabreiten bemalbaren Seiten sind erhältlich. • Malplatten: Präparierte Baumwolle, aufgespannt auf MDF Karton in diversen Formaten. Van Gogh Acrylfarbe kann auf den unterschiedlichsten Untergründen aufgetragen werden: Papier, Karton, Holz oder Stein, vorausgesetzt der Untergrund ist fettfrei und ausreichend absorbierend.

ACRYLFARBE

HILFSMITTEL FÜR VAN GOGH ACRYLFARBE Eigentlich sind Hilfsmittel für Acrylfarbe nicht unbedingt notwendig. Acrylfarbe kann nämlich ganz einfach mit Wasser verdünnt werden. Und doch können manche Hilfsmittel sehr nützlich sein oder spezielle Effekte bewerkstelligen. Royal Talens bietet unter dem Namen Amsterdam ein umfangreiches Sortiment an Hilfsmitteln für Acrylfarbe in verschiedenen Verpackungseinheiten an.

ACRYLFARBE

Acrylmalmittel glänzend 012 und matt 117: Macht die Farbe dünner und transparenter. Aufgrund des Acrylatharzes werden die Pigmente optimal geschützt. Gel Malmittel 094 / 080, Heavy Gel Malmittel 015 / 020 und Extra Heavy Gel Malmittel 021 / 022: Milchweisse Pasten, die bei purer Verwendung farblos und transparent auftrocknen. Geben der Farbe nach Vermischung mehr Volumen, Struktur und Pinselstrich. Aufgrund der grossen Haftkraft ausgezeichnet geeignet für Mischtechniken in Kombination mit den unterschiedlichsten Materialien, wie z.B. Sand, Steinchen, Holz, Papier und Karton. Jeder Malmitteltyp ist sowohl glänzend als auch matt erhältlich. Modellierpaste 1003: Zum Herstellen von Reliefuntergründen und Farbschichten mit Struktur, pur oder vermischt mit Acrylfarbe. Verdickungsmalmittel 040: Zum Herstellen von sehr dickflüssiger Farbe, ohne dass die Farbe heller wird oder ein Verlust der Farbkraft auftritt. Verstärkt den Pinselstrich beträchtlich. Acrylverzögerer 070: Verzögert die Trocknungszeit von Acrylfarbe, so dass man länger Nass-in-Nass arbeiten kann. Dieses Produkt nur sparsam verwenden. Acrylfirnis 114 / 115: Zum Schutz des fertigen Bildes und für einen gleichmässigen Glanzgrad. Erhältlich in matter und glänzender Ausführung, im Glas und in der Sprühdose. Acrylentferner 013: Entfernt getrocknete Acrylfarbreste aus Pinseln.

Vous pouvez appliquer un nombre infini de couches, pures ou diluées à l’eau. Le temps de séchage dépend de l’épaisseur de la couche, de la température et de l’humidité de l’air, mais il est relativement court. Vous pouvez donc travailler vite ! TECHNIQUE DU COUTEAU

A l’aide d’un couteau à peindre, vous pouvez appliquer des touches de peinture plates et des structures de toute épaisseur désirée. Avec le dessous du couteau vous pouvez aussi bien mélanger la peinture sur la palette que l’appliquer sur la toile. Le couteau à peindre se rince facilement avec un vieux chiffon ou un mouchoir en papier.

PINCEAUX VAN GOGH Chaque technique de peinture demande le pinceau parfait ! L’assortiment Van Gogh vous en offre une série complète. Les pinceaux Van Gogh sont fabriqués avec soin et savoir-faire. Vous pouvez choisir entre différents poils, tous d’excellente qualité, et différentes formes. Pour peindre à l’acrylique, il est conseillé d’utiliser des pinceaux à poils durs, grâce à la touffe qui résiste bien à l’usure. Séries 210 en 211 (soies de porc) pour peinture diluée et non diluée.

COMMENT RINCER LES PINCEAUX ? • Mouillez bien les pinceaux pendant le travail pour éviter que la peinture sèche. • Rincez les pinceaux après usage à l’eau chaude savonneuse. • Remodelez les poils après rinçage. • Gardez les pinceaux avec la touffe dirigée vers le haut.

COULEUR ACRYLIQUE

Médium acrylique brillant 012 et mat 117: rend la peinture plus liquide et transparente. La résine d’acrylate donne aux pigments une protection optimale. Médium gel 094/080, Médium gel épaississant 015/020 et Médium gel extra épaississant 021/022: pâtes blanches qui, utilisées de façon pure, sèchent incolores et transparentes. Mélangées avec de la peinture, elles donnent plus de volume et structure et un coup de pinceau plus prononcé. Grâce au caractère collant, ce produit convient parfaitement aux techniques mixtes avec des matériels divers, tels que sable, cailloux, bois, papier et carton. Chaque Médium gel est disponible aussi bien en brillant que mat. Pâte à modeler 1003: pour créer des supports en relief et des couches de peinture épaisses, mélangé ou non avec de la peinture acrylique. Médium épaississant 040: pour créer une peinture onctueuse sans éclaircir les couleurs ou perdre en pouvoir colorant. Rend le coup de pinceau nettement plus prononcé. Retardateur acrylique 070: ralentit le séchage de la peinture acrylique pour que vous puissiez travailler plus longtemps mouillé sur mouillé. A utiliser de façon économe. Vernis acrylique 114/115: pour protéger votre peinture et pour créer un degré de brillance égal. Disponible en version brillante et matte, aussi bien en flacon qu’en aérosol. Décapant acrylique 013: aide à enlever les restes de peinture séchées des pinceaux.

También puedes diluir la pintura con agua para trabajos más finos y transparentes. El acrílico es resistente al agua una vez seco. Por su corto tiempo de secado, puedes pintar rápidamente diferentes capas una sobre otra. Su alta resistencia a la luz hace que el cuadro mantenga sus vivos y originales colores por largo tiempo. PINTAR POR CAPAS

El acrílico puede aplicarse capa sobre capa casi sin limitaciones, ya sea puro o diluido con agua. El tiempo de secado es relativamente muy corto, pero depende del grosor de la capa, la temperatura y la humedad del aire. ¡Así que puedes continuar pintando con gran rapidez! TÉCNICA MIXTA

Al ser tan polifacético, el acrílico también resulta muy expresivo en técnicas mixtas. Por su fuerte poder adhesivo, al acrílico se le pueden añadir materiales ajenos a la pintura, como papel, cartón, tela y arena. Materiales finos como la arena, el serrín y piedras pequeñas deben mezclarse muy bien con la pintura antes de aplicarla al cuadro. ¡Da rienda suelta a tu creatividad!

TÉCNICA A LA ESPÁTULA

Con la espátula, la pintura puede aplicarse en toques pastosos y estructura que se desee. La parte inferior de la espátula resulta muy apta para mezclar la pintura en la paleta y para la aplicación al cuadro. Las espátulas son fáciles de limpiar con un trapo viejo o un pañuelo de papel.

PINCELES VAN GOGH ¡El pincel justo para cada técnica! La gama Van Gogh ofrece una serie muy completa de pinceles. Son pinceles que han sido elaborados con el máximo cuidado y gran pericia profesional. Puedes escoger entre diversos tipos de pelo de excelente calidad y diversas formas de pincel. Para pintar con acrílico se aconseja usar un pincel de pelos resistentes por la gran resistencia al desgaste.. Series 210 y 211 (pelo de cerda) para la pintura pura y diluida.

Series 232, 234 y 235 (pelo de oreja de buey) y serie 250 (Iltis/pelo de oreja de buey), para la pintura diluida, veladuras y técnicas de pintura detallista.

Series 294, 295 y 296 (fibra de poliéster) para la pintura pura y diluida.

¿CÓMO CUIDAR LOS PINCELES? • Mantener los pinceles húmedos durante el trabajo para que la pintura no se reseque. • Limpiarlos bien con agua caliente y jabón después de usar. • Dar forma al pelo después de limpiar el pincel. • Guardarlos en posición vertical con el pelo hacia arriba.

• Bastidores: lienzo tensado de lino o algodón preparado, en diferentes formatos y ejecuciones. AUXILIARES PARA ACRÍLICO VAN GOGH En realidad, para acrílico no se necesitan auxiliares. El acrílico puede diluirse sólo con agua. Sin embargo, algunos auxiliares pueden resultar muy prácticos para obtener efectos especiales. Royal Talens ofrece, bajo la marca Amsterdam, una amplia gama de auxiliares para acrílico en diferentes envases.

ACRÍLICO

Medio para acrílico brillante 012 y mate 117: hace la pintura más fina y transparente. Los pigmentos quedan óptimamente protegidos por la resina de acrilato que contiene. Medio gel 094 / 080, Medio gel espesante 015 / 020 y Medio gel extra espesante 021 / 022: pastas blancas lechosas que, usadas en estado puro, resultan transparentes e incoloras al secar. Mezclados con acrílico, proporcionan más volumen, estructura y pincelada a la pintura. Por su gran poder adhesivo, son especialmente aptos para técnicas mixtas en combinación con materiales muy diversos, como arena, piedras, madera, papel y cartón. Cada gel está disponible en variante brillante y mate. Pasta para modelar 1003: para realizar fondos en relieve y capas de pintura con estructura, ya sea mezclada con acrílico o pura. Medio espesante 040: para hacer pintura muy pastosa sin que el color se aclare ni pierda en poder colorante. Hace la pincelada mucho más contundente. Retardador para acrílico 070: ralentiza el secado de la pintura para poder trabajar más tiempo en la técnica de húmedo sobre húmedo. Este producto debe usarse moderadamente. Barniz acrílico 114 / 115: para proteger el cuadro y conseguir un grado de brillo uniforme. Disponible en versión mate y brillante, tanto en frasco como en spray. Limpiador para acrílico 013: elimina los restos de pintura reseca de los pinceles.
