DAN HOGMAN

Antonio Valiente Medina is a Peruvian artist with a degree in arts and studies in Design, Photography, 3D-animation and post-production. He´s founder of the “Spondylus” art stores. “Art is not a gift, it´s knowledge gathered through many hours of work, observation of details by feeling life, air, sea, seasons. See everything existing in perfect harmony through the eyes of the soul. Art must go in hand with technology, and always study nature, to create something timeless, innovative and revolutionary." His work is dynamic, fast, and balanced between classic and modern.

“Sakura Pigma Microns are part of my research projects. For shadows I use Pigma Brush in halftones, using Pigma ink as watercolor. It’s soluble in water while in liquid state, and dries quickly on paper to become water resistant, allowing for watercolor, alcohol markers or mixed techniques to achieve very realistic shadow effects in short time.” @antioniovaliente1 @antoniovaliente01

Dan has developed the capacity to quickly illustrate architectural concepts, public places or urban scenes, capturing the essence in few and relevant gestures. His drawings enjoy applicability across a wide range of projects, from architectural high-rise design concepts and hospitality resorts to interior commercials and Hollywood movie sets. In addition to running his design practice, Dan is teaching illustration and is running design and illustration workshops in San Francisco and beyond.

“As an architect and educator, freehand drawing is part of what I do on daily basis. While my drawings appear imprecise, I do need precise and reliable tools to accomplish my work, whether I am in my office, offsite client meetings, teach in classrooms or just traveling to various locations. Her main business is designing cards, such as birth announcements and invitations. Another passion of her is making fashion illustrations. For her illustrations she likes to use different materials: pencil, markers, fineliners, ecoline.

She also uses different digital techniques.

MARTINE BOERE

Martine from Studio Suikerzoet is a Dutch lettering artist, creative product developer and author of several articles and books about creative lettering. As an enthusiastic teacher she shared her tips, tricks and knowledge of the materials with thousands of students in both the Netherlands and Belgium and organizes international letter-inspired summer schools. Her work is recognizable by its use of bright colors, playful use of materials and techniques in combination with a touch of humor.

ARDIF

Ardif is a French artist based in Paris. During his studies of architecture, he is interested in the aesthetics of the building and the machine at different scales. Today, his work explores possible hybridisations between architecture / machine and nature. His series of “mechanimals” is the illustration of this graphic universe. The natural symmetry of the animal allows a composition that plays on the contrast of materials, scales and textures. This urban fauna creates a contrast that questions us about the impact of the artificialisation of nature or, conversely, of the wild and primitive instinct to be found in our urban life.

Kim is een Nederlandse illustrator uit Apeldoorn. Ze is begonnen in 2008 en sindsdien heeft ze voor veel verschillende klanten gewerkt. ARDIF

Ardif is een Franse kunstenaar gevestigd in Parijs. Tijdens zijn studie van architectuur, is hij geïnteresseerd in de esthetiek van het gebouw en de machine op verschillende schaalniveaus. Vandaag zijn werk onderzoekt mogelijke hybridisaties tussen architectuur / machine en de natuur. Zijn serie "mechanimals" is de illustratie van dit grafische universum. De natuurlijke symmetrie van het dier laat een compositie toe die speelt op het contrast van materialen, schalen en texturen. Deze stedelijke fauna creëert een contrast dat ons bevraagt over de impact van de kunstmatige kunst van de natuur of, omgekeerd, het wilde en primitieve instinct dat we in ons stadsleven kunnen vinden.

Antonio Valiente Medina is een Peruaanse kunstenaar met een diploma in kunst en studies in ontwerp, fotografie, 3D-animatie en postproductie. Hij is oprichter van de kunstwinkels "Spondylus". "Kunst is geen geschenk, het is kennis verzameld door vele uren werk, observatie van details door het voelen van leven, lucht, zee, seizoenen. Bekijk alles dat in perfecte harmonie bestaat door de ogen van de ziel. Kunst moet hand in hand gaan met technologie en altijd de natuur bestuderen, iets tijdloos, innovatief en revolutionair creëren.

Martine, travaillant pour Studio Suikerzoet, est une artiste de lettrage néerlandaise, conceptrice de produits créatifs et auteur de plusieurs articles et livres publiés sur le lettrage créatif. Martine, travaillant pour Studio Suikerzoet, est une artiste de lettrage néerlandaise, conceptrice de produits créatifs et auteur de plusieurs articles et livres publiés sur le lettrage créatif. En tant que professeur enthousiaste, elle partage ses trucs, astuces et connaissances des matériels avec des milliers d'étudiants aux Pays-Bas et en Belgique. Elle organise aussi des cours d'été internationaux inspirés par le lettrage.

Ses œuvres d'art se reconnaissent par des couleurs vives et l'usage ludique de matériels et techniques combinés avec un brin d'humour.

Dan a développé sa capacité d'illustrer des concepts architecturaux, des endroits publics ou des scènes urbaines de façon rapide, tout en saisissant l'essentiel dans quelques gestes adéquats. Ces dessins peuvent être utilisés dans une grande variété de projets comme les concepts de design pour les grands immeubles architecturaux, centres de vacances et même les publicités pour des intérieurs de maisons et les décors de films Hollywood. En plus de ses activités de design, Dan est professeur d'illustration et il organise des ateliers de design et illustration à San Francisco et au-delà.

Sa série de “mechanimals” est l'illustration de cet univers graphique. La symétrie naturelle de l'animal permet de créer une composition qui joue avec les contrastes des matériels, échelles et textures. Cette faune urbaine crée un contraste qui nous interroge sur l'impact de l'artificialisation de la nature, ou bien inversement sur l'instinct sauvage et primitif que nous pourrons trouver dans notre vie urbaine.

Antonio Valiente Medina è un artista peruviano con una laurea in arte e studi nell'ambito di design, fotografia, animazione in 3D e post-produzione. Ha fondato i negozi di arte “Spondylus”. Ardif è un artista francese che fa base a Parigi. Durante i suoi studi di architettura, si è interessato all'estetica delle costruzioni e alle macchine in proporzioni diverse. Oggi, il suo lavoro esplora possibili ibridazioni tra l'architettura / le macchine e la natura. La sua serie "meccanimali" illustra questo universo grafico. La simmetria naturale dell'animale permette una composizione che gioca sul contrasto di materiali, proporzioni e consistenze. Questa fauna urbana crea un contrasto che ci fa interrogare sull'impatto dell'artificializzazione della natura o, al contrario, dell'istinto selvaggio e primitivo presente nella nostra vita urbana.

Antonio Valiente Medina è un artista peruviano con una laurea in arte e studi nell'ambito di design, fotografia, animazione in 3D e post-produzione. Ha fondato i negozi di arte “Spondylus”. "L'arte non è un dono, è conoscenza accumulata con molte ore di lavoro, osservazione di dettagli assaporando la vita, l'aria, il mare, le stagioni. Vedere tutto quello che esiste, in armonia perfetta con gli occhi dell'anima.
