HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATES
Give Back University (formerly known as the Youth Leaders Program) is a new part of GBU’s commitment to our youth and their education. The best way to help the communities we care about is to help foster a sense of community in our youth. We hope that Give Back University students will grow up to be advocates and strong leaders both for GBU and for the communities they live in. Students earn points for participation in the program and receive special recognition each year. Points can also be redeemed for additional education or community development grant money upon high school graduation.

Give Back University Benefits
Grades 2-5
Builders
Explore what it is like to be a leader in your community! Through a variety of online classes and meetings with fellow GBU Explorers, you will learn the basics of public speaking, project planning and financial literacy. Work with your fellow Explorers to plan your first simple community projects.
Build your leadership skills with ageappropriate online courses and regular meetings with your fellow GBU Builders. Learn how to plan for project resources, present plans for a community project and get the word out for additional help in your community.

Birthday Match
GBU youth members can receive an annual $250 activity grant payable to their sports, athletic or academic team to offset funding needs for the organization.
GBU will match up to $250 raised for any 501(c)(3) organization during the member’s birthday month.
Grades 6-8
Trendsetters Grades 9-12 Begin your true leadership journey with more advanced leadership courses including resume writing, preparing for college and job interviews. Participate in volunteer projects in your community, and begin to build a portfolio that will help with future employment and higher education considerations. Work with your fellow GBU Trendsetters to plan and execute significant projects that will have an impact on your community.
Trailblazers High School Graduates
Show off your leadership skills by leading a GBU district or project in your area. Become a mentor for younger members of the GBU Give Back University program and learn how to apply and interview for internship opportunities. This program will help to set you up to be a GBU trailblazer in your community!

Driver’s Safety
GBU will match up to $1,000 of funds raised for any qualifying 501(c)(3) organization.
GBU will reimburse up to $250 to members completing an inclassroom or online language course.
GBU will reimburse 50% of the in-classroom or online course fee (up to $100 maximum) to teen members completing a driver’s education certification course.

Sage Tuition Rewards Insured GBU Give Back University members earn tuition discount points that can be used at many colleges and universities throughout the US. Adult GBU members can also earn points on behalf of a child, stepchild, grandchild or niece or nephew. High school freshmen will be able to create a portfolio to track test scores, grades, community service and other items related to college admissions, in addition to being able to apply to multiple colleges and universities directly from the platform.

GBU Youth Education and Community Development Grants
GBU Foundation Scholarships and Educational Grants
GBU Give Back University members are eligible for a GBU Give Back University Education or Community Development Grants upon graduation from high school.
GBU Give Back University members are eligible to apply for educational scholarships and grants given by the GBU Foundation, GBU districts and various state fraternal alliance organizations.
