WELCO M E!

Dear Durango Friends and Autumn Arts Festival Guests,

Welcome to the 27th Annual Durango Autumn Arts Festival! The Durango Arts Center (DAC) is proud to have presented this special event for 27 years, showcasing the diverse talents of artists and craftspeople who hail from our local region and from across the country. Selected through a competitive juried process, this year DAC is thrilled to have nearly 100 booths offering our festival patrons and community so much to enjoy. As DAC’s largest event fundraiser, the Durango Autumn Arts Festival would not be possible without the continued and incredible support of the many local business sponsors and in-kind donors who help make this event a high quality special experience for artists, volunteers and guests alike. DAC is especially grateful to our Platinum sponsors, the El Pomar Foundation and Legacy Properties l West Sotheby’s International Realty. We also are so appreciative to all our other sponsors listed on the back page and especially our volunteers who dedicate enthusiasm, skill and time to ensuring smooth festival operations, without whom this event would not be possible! It is DAC’s honor to celebrate another year of fine arts and crafts with our community. Thank you for joining us, and enjoy the festival! Brenda Macon Executive Director Durango Arts Center

As we look to an eventual re-emergence from the pandemic, our communities are seeing a resurgence of cultural and community gatherings this summer and fall that create connection and build economic prosperity unique to each region. El Pomar Foundation is pleased to sponsor Durango Autumn Arts Festival as part of our 2021 Colorado Assistance Fund, which is supporting cultural community events, festivals and venues that seek to build connection and reignite economic vitality, particularly in rural regions of Colorado. El Pomar is one of the largest and oldest private foundations in Colorado, contributing approximately $22 million across the state annually through grants and community stewardship programs to support Colorado nonprofit organizations involved in health, human services, education, arts and humanities, and civic and community initiatives. Spencer and Julie Penrose founded El Pomar in 1937 with the mission to enhance, encourage and promote the current and future well-being of the people of Colorado. Our best wishes to the community of Durango and to the organizers and participants of Durango Autumn Arts Festival for a successful and enjoyable event. Best regards, Kyle H. Hybl

We are delighted to continue our support of the ever-growing art scene in Southwest Colorado through our involvement with the Durango Arts Center Autumn Arts Festival. We firmly believe in the power of the arts and artists to advance individual selfexpression and community involvement. Therefore, our agents support the Durango Arts Center as they create a space for our community members to shine a light on what matters most to them, to take a moment to do something creative in their own voice.
