BEAT MUSEUM FATIGUE!

BUTTOCKS Count all the naked buttocks in the museum! (And why is there so much nudity in art anyway?) -

You can of course also count all the hats, clocks or vases.

FOR A SCULPTURE

PEDESTAL Compare a sculpture on a pedestal with a sculpture standing on the ground. How does the pedestal influence the relationship between you and the work?

POSE Imitate the pose of one or more of the people in this work. Is it a natural pose? Why and how did the artist choose this pose? How would the person/people depicted feel?

Choose a pose from a work in another room and imitate it. The rest of the group then has to find the corresponding work.

HEADLINE Art is often a response to social themes and trends. Which artwork can you (also) relate to current events? Variation: use your smartphone to find a suitable headline.
