Solo Traveling can be an exciting, but possibly overwhelming endeavor. This course will help you gain the confidence you need to start solo traveling, or learn to solo travel better. We’ll go over how to select a destination, how to plan and budget for your trip, how to stay safe while traveling, and how to make your solo travel more enjoyable.

Introduction To Pickleball

Come out and experience why Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the country! Pickleball is a fun, social, and friendly sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. This course will cover the basics of the game's rules, terminology, techniques, and strategy. Wear your workout clothes, bring your own paddle, or use a provided loaner paddle. Intro To The Joy Of Fly Fishing

Discover the joy of fly fishing in this hands-on course taught by experienced local fly fisherman. Develop a proficiency in fly-casting and increase your understanding of which fly to use. This course will focus on the basics, but will also include information for those who have prior experience. The last class students will meet at a location on the South Santiam River. ESSENTIALS OF CAMPING NEW!

Going camping? Want to know how to set up a comfortable campsite? We’ll learn to assemble a tent (two kinds), blow up an air mattress, learn the difference between sleeping bags, how to set up a camp kitchen, and how to cook meals, and make coffee. We’ll go over basic equipment needs, and some additional equipment that will make your camping trip more comfortable. We’ll also go over the basics of reserving camp sites.

Want to have fun speaking Spanish as a family? Build your Spanish conversational and linguistic skills to help prepare you to travel more confidently in Spanishspeaking countries. “Conversation” topics for the lessfluent speaker will be broad and diverse to acquaint you with whatever might come your way. CREATING W/COLOR & TIE DYE FOR FAMILIES

Explore color in a new and playful way. Learn about why we see colors the way we do, about primary and secondary colors, and how color mixes, changing their energetic frequency. Each class will offer the opportunity to create your own Tie Dye project to take home! Minors aged 8+ are welcome to register with the accompaniment of an adult guardian who must also register for the class. All class materials provided, except t-shirts.

FAMILY FUN W/CANDLES NEW!

Ready for some family fun with crafts? Join a local candle smith who will help guide you in creating several types of candles to enjoy for yourself or to give as gifts. Minors aged 8+ are welcome to register with the accompaniment of an adult guardian who must also register for the class. All class materials provided.

FAMILY POUND NEW!

Adults and children can explore new movement with the exhilarating, drumming-inspired, Pound workout. This class fuses movement and music to improve focus, coordination, and physical fitness. A cardio-based workout that encourages you to ROCK OUT while youth and adults alike build strength and confidence. With a combination of activities and exercise, Family Pound is a great way to get movin’ together. AEROMODELING: DRAGONFLY KIT

Mark designed this model 25 years ago and it has won in numerous competitions. It's a very lightweight model that can be flown in gymnasiums or outdoors on calm days. It's a rubber-powered "stick and tissue" model, using balsa wood and lightweight covering. Mark will show you how to adjust it for maximum flight times. Minors aged 8+ are welcome to register with the accompaniment of an adult guardian who must also register for the class. All class materials provided.

FAMILY CLAY, POTTERY & HAND-BUILDING

Come create with clay in a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment. This two-day experience is taught by two local instructors teaming up to teach beginners handbuilding techniques and how to throw on a pottery wheel. The first class will focus on project creation while the second class will allow students to glaze their work. Projects will be available for pickup at the Lebanon Center after completion. Minors aged 8+ are welcome to register with the accompaniment of an adult guardian who must also register for the class. All class materials provided. Class dates are 8/5 & 8/19.

PIZZAS & FLATBREADS: FAMILY EDITION NEW!

In this family edition class, both adult guardian and minor will learn the fundamentals of making pizza dough, as well as how to prepare and make a variety of flatbreads, accompanying spreads and sauces, and assemble a mezze platter. Adult guardians and minor will be working as a team to create together. Bonus content includes how to properly operate a hearth oven to create amazing crust and pizza, this portion of class is limited to adult only.
