1. VELCRO LINER CLOSURE For 2010, we improved the liner closure with an integrated Velcro™ interface that keeps the tongue centered and in place.

6. SYSTEM G2™ Prime, Juhyo, TM-2, Ultralight, Vela, Focus Boa™, Heritage (Full-length gel) System G2™ is a special temperature independent gel compound that has been exhaustively researched. Unlike airbags, System G2™ is less affected by temperature changes, and will not bottom out or pop under high impact.

2. 3-D MOLDED TONGUE Our 3-D Molded Tongues wrap your foot for easier lacing, improved fit and heel hold. This design also gives us the ability to control the stiffness of each model for customized flex and improved response.

7. POWER WRAP TECHNOLOGY Prime, Focus Boa™, Lashed, Prospect For 2010, we improved the leverage and function of our Power Wrap systems. By designing exterior independent eye stays to the outside of the boot shell, we create a powerful wrap mechanism from the outside in. As the boot breaks in, the outer shell molds around your liner and foot, securing your forefoot and providing unparalleled ankle support.

3. ARTICULATING CUFF Prime, Juhyo, Ultralight, Focus Boa™, TM-2, Vela, Heritage, Lashed, Lashed FT, Lock, Lock Boa™, Prospect This advanced shell construction creates high-performing, smooth-flexing boots that are easier to lace and more durable. There is also less shell distortion, resulting in consistent heel hold through the full flex range.

8. STI EVOLUTION FOAM™ Prime, Juhyo, Ultralight, Focus Boa™, TM-2, Vela, Lashed, Lashed FT, Lock Boa™, Prospect Designed in our STI Lab, this foam provides better cushioning than traditional foam materials and dramatically reduces the weight by eliminating the need for a heavy rubber outsole. ThirtyTwo boots with STI Evolution Foam™ are 15% to 40% lighter than previous seasons and remain the lightest in the industry.

4. INNER CUFF LACING SYSTEM Prime, Juhyo, TM-2, Ultralight, Vela, Focus Boa™, Heritage, Lashed Updated for 2010, our new Inner Cuff Lacing System can easily be tightened with a single pull. The lace lock will keep the laces secure, the orange pull strap helps keep the laces straight, and the anatomical shape will keep your heel down.

9. FLEX LEVELS Every rider has a preference in boot stiffness. We take this into consideration in all of our boots--from the upper to the outsole to the liner--to make them perfectly balanced. Each boot is rated on our 10 point scale: 1 = softest to 10 = stiffest.

TONGUE TENSION SYSTEM Prime, TM-2, Vela, Lock We attached straps to the tongue and then threaded either the Boa™ lace or traditional lace through the strap, so as you tighten the boot, the tongue straps pull in and over your forefoot to maximize hold where you need it the most and eliminate heel lift.
