Wood Processing Learnership Programme - 2017 Applications are invited from unemployed youth (18-35 years of age) who wish to pursue a career in Wood Technology/Wood Processing (Sawmill). Successful applicants will be granted an opportunity to participate in a formal one-year Learnership Programme (NQF 3). This will consist of accredited theoretical and practical training. Learners will be based at SAFCOL’s Timbadola Sawmill in the Levubu area of Limpopo. Learners will receive a monthly stipend for the duration of the Learnership. Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged individuals, people living with disability, black females and youth from communities which SAFCOL has signed Social Compact with. Requirements: • Must be a South African citizen in good health • Must have successfully completed Grade 11 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy • Must be prepared to work in a noisy and dusty production environment.
