Born in South Africa and raised in Sydney, Australia, she came to New York at the age of 15 to study at the School of American Ballet and went on to dance professionally for 14 years with American Ballet Theater, the Miami City Ballet, and as a soloist with the Suzanne Farrell Ballet at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Her creative, demanding, and competitive background has contributed to her ability to build a full service brokerage business in one of the most fast-paced and intense industries in the world.

Karen Davidson Karen Davidson is an accomplished business woman who joined Douglas Elliman after a successful 15-year career on Wall Street advising Fortune 500 clients on their daily investment decisions. As a seasoned sales, marketing and business development executive, she is acutely aware of the financial and investment intricacies of real estate. This is complemented by her natural understanding of the gravity and emotional aspect of a property purchase. In partnership with her husband, one of NYC’s leading Residential Real Estate attorneys, Karen has the added dimension of a detailed understanding of the many nuances associated with the NYC property transaction process.

Anthony Barrillo Matthew Seiden Anthony Barillo is a driven, charismatic and passionate individual working on the Katzen Team at Douglas Elliman, one of the top three teams companywide. While matriculated at Temple University and The University of Pennsylvania, Anthony acquired a fervent passion for understanding the real estate market with particular attention to the financial aspect. Moreover, an extensive knowledge of market dynamics has been instrumental for Anthony’s understanding of global and local real estate. Prior to working in real estate sales, Peter came from a high-tech start-up background in San Francisco, California, specializing in sales & business development. Peter now resides in Manhattan for over a decade.

Lisa Reneau began her career in real estate with a determination for excellence, a tenacious work ethic, and a competitive edge from a her career in the arts. A long-time NY resident, Lisa moved to the city at age 14 when she was invited to become a full-time student at the prestigious School of American Ballet. As a professional ballet dancer, she danced in the U.S. with Miami City Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Suzanne Farrell Ballet at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and in Europe with Leipzig Ballet in Germany.

Peter and his family have had a very successful history in real estate for over 20 years located primarily in California and New York City. Peter is in the forefront of his field for the skills and accuracy that he possesses in negotiation, research, data and care for his clients.

Kelsey Martin

Kelsey is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, where she attended Cranbrook Kingswood. She subsequently graduated from the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond in Virginia with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, a concentration in marketing, and a Minor in Art. Kelsey’s education and sales experience provides her with the skills to stand-out and succeed in today’s highly competitive marketplace. With a keen eye for photography, Kelsey examines every property with the utmost attention to detail.

Tristan Rothschild. Chief of Operations Born and raised in New York City, Tristan matriculated from Fordham University as a member of the dean list with a bachelors in Business Administration and a minor in finance and marketing. Tristan brings a keen eye for marketing management and is a consummate professional who excels in the heavy nuances of team management. As the chief of operations for the Katzen Team, Tristan excels at micro- management alongside driving the Katzen Team to be at the pinnacle of exceptional service.

Grant Shapolsky

Grant Shapolsky Matthew Seiden

A native New Yorker, Grant Shapolsky is a third generation real estate investor. Grant has bought and sold 35 buildings in Manhattan since 1996. Profit on volume which usually leads to the 1031 exchange has been the formula. Grant is known for acquiring the more complicated and hairy deals. His specialty has been adding value by rolling up his sleeves with IMD tenants, rent strikes, and buying interests in spoiled partnerships. His ability to think outside the box with the utmost amount of tenacity is the secret to his success. Grant’s niche has mostly been loft property from the southernmost part of Tribeca spanning to Chelsea/Flatiron.
