Between the lines

SCOP, OBIECTIVE PRIORITARE

- The project has started as an online meeting between Greek and Romanian reading clubs, but shortly, it became more than that. We started from Bram Stoker’s book, Dracula, to design our activities, but the aim of the project was more to allow the student interaction, to offer them the opportunity to be in contact mainly emotionally than informationally. We point the information as a tool for students and teachers as well, to build together a bridge BETWEEN different cultures. Contributing to this cause are the online conferences, our mails and messages shared on Skype and yahoo messenger, as well as the gifts (symbolic and material) that schools exchanged between them. It wasn’t hard because we benefit cooperation with a serious partner and things went quite easy. The novel Dracula allows us to explore our inner fear, to explain it, to share our experience and to become more tolerant. We know it is hard to overcome prejudices and stereotypes but for us it was quite easy to establish a real connection. It is dangerous to generalize but we think our experience gives us the power to go on, to hope for a better world based upon a mutual understanding and tolerance

location the book talks about. Interesting things are expected stemming from a classic gothic novel, in respect to cultural differences and similarities. chating with Greece, a way to get-to-know-eachother step. Photos and documents with students' preferences had been sent to our etwinners. Getting the questionnaire on Dracula and realising the video about our town, Targoviste comparing the book to the film (Dracula) and discussing all the big themes, fear, loyalty, superstitions, love etc. Meanwhile, our common blog with Greece is progressing (http://draculabetweenthelines.blogspot.com) We are learning new webtools and making progress in ITC. The project has received the QUALITY LABEL 2008

Exchanging, sharing information, impressions, with a school from another country is a method of communication that brings many new impressions when compared with a traditional exchange of letters. In the same time, the students experience opportunities for personal growth through an enriching program of educational and cultural interaction. They gain appreciation for the school they live in, they build their self-confidence and develop increased levels of maturity and independence. The greatest quality of this project is the student motivation and the things we learnt from our collaborators in ITC and the teaching process. Each of our eTwinning projects is getting more and more student centered, collaborative and interactive as opposed to traditional teaching, which still holds strong in our country. Our goal is to attain student initiative to the greatest degree possible.

Seminar de dezvoltare profesionala – Chantilly, Franta

SCOP, OBIECTIVE PRIORITARE

- Obiectivul principal al seminarului a fost sa aduca impreuna profesori din liceele si colegiile europene (click LINK lista), pentru a crea premisele necesare incheierii unor proiecte/ parteneriate de schimb la distanta.

ORIZONT TEMPORAL FAZELE PROIECTULUI

29/05/2008 până la 31/05/2008 Formarea s-a desfasurat pe parcursul a trei zile (29 -31 mai), intr-un cadru minunat, in care se imbina armonios istoria cu modernitatea, si cu dragostea pentru mediul inconjurator (Chantilly Gouvieux), si a beneficiat de suport din partea unor experti ai comisiei europene (Micheline Maurice – Chargee de mission au CIEP, Anne Gilleran – CSS, Pierre Auboiron – Le reseau SCEREN)

Obiectivul principal al seminarului a fost sa aduca impreuna profesori de liceele si colegiile europene, pentru a crea premisele necesare incheierii unor proiecte/ parteneriate de schimb la distanta. Activitatile bazate pe comunicare si munca in echipa au favorizat germinarea ideilor de proiecte. De asemenea, instrumentele puse cu generozitate la dispozitie de catre organizatori (calculatoare, conexiune internet, softuri de prelucrare date, telefonie) au fost de un real folos pentru participanti. Seminarul a debutat cu prezentarea generala a platformei Etwinning si a instrumentelor de colaborare pe care aceasta le ofera profesorilor europeni, a importantei pe care o are cooperarea in conditiile unei societati bazate pe cunoastere si internationalizare a informatiei. In

continuare, discutiile individuale bazate pe un model interesant (Speed Dating) au permis o cunoastere directa a participantilor la seminar si inregistrarea asteptarilor acestora si a posibilitatilor viitoare de cooperare. Urmatoarele doua zile au fost dedicate exclusive Pedagogiei de proiect, prin prezentarea unor exemple de bune practice si a activitatilor interactive de tip atelier. Dintre atelierele ce au avut loc amintesc: Podcast (atelier de realizare a fisierelor video), Claymation (atelier de cinema de animatie), Story-teling (revista online). Activitatile au fost proiectate in comun acord cu necesitatile de dezvoltare a profesorilor de liceu si a elevilor care beneficiaza de serviciile educative.

Experienta acumulata aici este menita a se face vadita in anul ce urmeaza, prin proiecte interesante si innovative, ce vor facilita elevilor dezvoltarea de competente, necesare unei insertii de success in campul muncii. Am apreciat pozitiv atat calitatea conditiilor de formare oferite de organizatori cat si calitatea informatiilor furnizate pe parcursul cursului si a materialelor oferite. Singura observatie este legata de faptul ca nu au fost incurajate, desi au fost amintite, proiectele transversale care ar permite constientizarea ideii de retea / interconexiune a disciplinelor, si in acelasi timp importanta tuturor disciplinelor ce se studiaza in scoala.

- Prezentarea organizatiei EPTO, si realizarea diferitelor activitati de tip educatie nonformala, permit constientizarea propriilor stereotipuri si prejudecati, fapt care ne poate transforma in agenti ai propriei schimbari. Educarea tinerilor lideri in ceea ce priveste problematica legata de discriminare si transformarea acestora in persoane apte sa educe la randul lor alti tineri, pentru a lupta impotriva discriminarii si pentru schimbarea stereotipurilor, pe principiul educatiei „peer to peer”

Discriminarea, o slabiciune a UE

Starting from an objective reality which is caused by our natural organisation (visual acuity due the discrimination of the object from his background) we have tried to find out, by talking pro or against, if we can live without discrimination. We putted under question our prejudices: 1. WE got prejudices and stereotypes 2. The women got equal rights in all over the European countries 3. Nations can adopt rules or laws for protect his indigene population 4. The immigrants must adopt the culture of the host country 5. Religions might be compulsory on bachelor degree. 6. High number of the Rrome population in schools is responsible for the low level of education 7. Starting with our European integration, Rrome population doesn’t means a discriminate population anymore 8. the employees could choose their personnel on particular criteria 9. Gay couples deserve to adopt their own children 10. Positive discrimination is still necessary In the same time, we took under question the vectors of discrimation, as well as factors that limit a good communication and cooperation.

Talking about a game, the inner logique, Dialectique, has been not our strong point, our conclusions are not ones which can stand as rules, but I am sure the pre-cognitive building of thoughts made it by family, school, group of friend or church, have been at least moved, if not definitely changed by the power of the discuss. FAZELE PROIECTULUI Evenimentul nostru nu s-a desfasurat dupa un tipar classic de debate, SCOPUL declarat al acestei intalniri fiind, in ordinea motto-ului de pe afis: Express yourself, no matter what, libera exprimare a gandurilor si sentimentelor. Regulile “jocului” au fost doar la nivel de sugestii, iar concluziile au ramas o responsabilitatea subiectiva. Pornind de la o realitate obiectiva care tine de alcatuirea noastra naturala (acuitatea vizuala se construieste prin discriminarea unui anumit obiect de fondul in care se afla), am incercat sa aflam prin discutiile noastre daca putem trai fara discriminare. Activitatea a debutat cu vizionarea a doua filme Stranger: 1. Thougy of my world 2. it’s time for a change si o prezentare ppt. menite sa ne introduca in atmosfera propice dialogului.

S-au analizat vectorii, aparent benigni prin care se transmite discriminarea (bancurile cu evrei, tigani, preoti s.a), factorii care impiedica in consecinta o buna comunicare si o buna COMUNIUNE. Fiind vorba de un joc, dialectica n-a fost punctul nostru tare; nu pot sa spun ca sintezele acestor confruntari argumentative au fost unele ce le-am putea instaura ca reguli, dar sunt convinsa ca edificiile pre-cognitive pe care familia, scoala si biserica le-a construit in mintea noastra, au fost cel putin zdruncinate de seismul discutiilor, daca nu schimbate.
