Nantes National School of Architecture (France)
I am a young architect who believe that architecture is a singular discipline, which goal is to create social and sustainable places in a pre-existing urbanity. That’s why I take architecture as a polymorphic discipline, which mix social interaction, structural challenge, urban fabric and renewal. More than the final aspect of the project, it is for me all the creative process leading to it which it is important. This inscription in History, in an urban and social heritage is for me a real motivation. As an enthusiastic, rigorous, motivated and globally-minded candidate, I would like to contribute my thoughts and knowledge to your team.

2018 -Final Project Congratulations of the jury LOCATION: Pinetamare, Castel Volturno, Campania, Italy PROF.: Carlo Grispello / Laurent Devisme PARTNERSHIP: University of Napoli Federico II
CONTEXT: The studio takes place in Castel Volturno, a little city 40 km far from Napoli, in southern Italy. This city is today the most important example of “abusivismo, a phenomenon of illegal construction for making fake money. After a workshop with the architecture students of the University of Napoli Federico II, the idea was to find a way of intervention in this unusual city. MISSION (S): Programming with Ann Shi and Guillaume Bichon, then, development of an individual project.

VILLAGGIO COPPOLA / PINETAMARE From an illegal seaside dream to a speculative city and a symbol of criminal urbanism
This city, built in an illegal way, was first thought like a dream, an ideal accessible for Napoli’s middle class. But today, after 40 years, it became a neglected city, hosting a large migrant population, and still subject to questionable speculation. This old dream abandoned has left behind him original architectural forms and colours, but also seaside and leisure infrastructures resulting from this glorious past. There is in total 13 sport places, mostly unused.
- Private Beaches-
Those infrastructures are on locked plots and inaccessible. This is the case of all the swimming pools. In addition at the privatization of all the coastline, which is a recurring phenomenon in Italy, swimming is now a sport who disappeared of this seaside town. This sport - leisure normally going hand in hand with the notion of seaside town and rich of a social imaginary, is today inaccessible to the inhabitants and privileged for the tourists.

THE PROJECT HAS TO: - Show off those dynamics and be the showcase of the actions carried out in Pinetamare - Propose a common roof for associations, allowing a consultation between them whose doesn’t exist today - Reintroduce a forgotten public leisure via the reactivation of a swimming pool.
- 1 - Open the structure to provide natural light -

CERAMICS: A WAY TO REPAIR DEGRADED CONCRETE
THE SWIMMING POOL: THE POETIC OF ABONDONMENT AND WATER
We found in mosaics and ceramics a traditional way to repair the degraded concrete structure.
The swimming pool assumes this period of abandonment, and that’s why the changing rooms take place in the original pool, offering a unique immersion. It also allows to not add a build volume in a city already dense.
These colours, and the first use of ornament corresponding to them, enter in violent contrast with the pre-existing materiality of this structure in concrete immense, rough and degraded. It is then the opportunity to allow an urban renewal by the presence of this building, but also by its singular aesthetic and the attractiveness it would give.

SECURITY A work on the barriers was necessary, for integrating them into the architecture and do not close once again the concrete structure to the city. Plus, the relation to the city wants to be ambiguous, to begin a transformation in those private islands permeable to each other which draws the city.
FROM AN ARCHITECTURAL OBJECT OF LEISURE TO AN URBAN RENEWAL This mosaic who allowed us to repair the concrete of the Maifinito structure can be found on others urban spaces that also require a more sustainable restoration that a painting.
- the summer tourist season The project has to combine two distinct temporalities. That’s why it declines two different circuits, summer and winter.
- urban beach extension of the swimming pool
- the winter, with half-less persons the space around the pool is metamorphosed, the uses changed
- new public place extension of public space

2017 - Master 2 - Individual project LOCATION: Caulnes, Bretagne, France PROF.: Sylvain Gaste, Carlo Grispello PARTNERSHIP: ENSA vds / ENSA b SPEECHES: Rural Studio (USA), Fabriques (frères Janins, Fr)
CONTEXT: The project questions the rural world, its evolution and its future. The town hall of Caulnes had to buy lands to carry out the road infrastructure bypassing the city centre. This former pig farm and poultry is a part of these lands. The town hall asked several schools of architecture to reflect on prospective ways to manage the future of this area and the city overall. MISSION (S): Programming with Margot Company and Tania Gauvin, then, development of an individual project.

VILLE GATE, A PART OF THE FUTURE EXTENSION OF THE CITY Located in the north of the city centre, the project site, composed by old agricultural sheds and a manor, can be perceived as a strategic point for developing a new activity. But the city already have a new school, a new neighbourhood: it is a growing city, which, for now, isn’t in need of a new economy or infrastructure.

VILLE GATE, A NEW PLACE OF EXPERIMENTATION FOR REUSE This old farm is today used by the town hall and farmer’s neighbours like a stocking place. Maybe we can extend this dynamic to the industries of the region, to initiate an experimentation place for reuse in Bretagne
Scale 1 experimentation: - intentions sticking, - a daub wall with earth from the site,
Rural architecture: an architecture of superposition and addition.
This place is today used as a storage place by the town hall.
A lot of unused materials in the surrounding industries, that we can imagine collect.

PROFS.: Maelle Tessier PARTNERSHIP: CAUE 49, ANRU (National office for Urban Renewal), CORELA (Regional Conservatory of Loire’s Banks and Tributaries)
CONTEXT: Reflection about the “bedrooms Communities”, the relations of a small village and his landscapes qualities. How valorize them not just for tourist but for a better everyday life quality ? Then, we had to re-think the uncommon of Savennières village’s, creating there a new meeting point. GROUND FLOOR PLAN A new public space, connecting the different elements of the surrounding landscape and the different users of the place: tourists, students, travellers, scientists...
SAVENNIÈRES, a village in need of connection and renewal Savennières is a village on the banks of the Loire. It is characterized by many factors, and most of all, his famous white wine. Near from Angers, and not far from Nantes, the verry touristic cycle road «La Loire à Velo» cross the village. But the entrance to this charming village is marked by the brutal passage of a railway line and a verry passing road, from Nantes to Angers. This concentration of conexion coulld be rich, like a meeting point, but for now, it just cut the village from the banks of the Loire and from the surrounding landscape. Then, there is a need of infrastructure, in one hand for restructure the flows, and in the other hand, for highlight and make (re) discover the landscape.

- Second year / with Nina Pestel & Corentin Doare Kespern LOCATION: Nantes, Pays de la Loire, France PROF.: Franรงois Defrain CONTEXT: These five years at the School of Architecture were marked by a varied and consistent production of projects. Each studio taught me so much, most of all to turn to different programs (concert hall, transformable housing, housing) but also to use different ways of conduct a project at his final state. I could also experiment a lot of tools, from renders to models, initiating me to a lot of practices and softwares, as 3Ds Max.

Historically a worker district, the site is today in full evolution, and let appear new buildings, diversifying the forms of live in. Then, we wanted to combine these two forms, seizing the advantages of each, in order to accommodate a living diversity inside the project itself. All the apartments are oriented on a big patio with trees, and each one, according to its localisation, has its own atmosphere. The studio has led us to an intense reflection on housing and its everyday maintenance.

«INVITING ONESELF INTO DEAD ENDS» “We propose to recreate a landscape inside of the very building in order to redraw the wailing of the alienated site. On both sides of the Eiffel warehouse subsist the relics of our own reverie : from hundred chiming bottles instruments to monorail trains exploring the wilderness, one can wander around walking on gentle grassy hills, the very own resurgences of buried invisible places. But does such an idealistic dream vow a certain future to the place ? Does it even solve the absurdity of the site ? This landscape, far from any industrial strictness, rather causes idleness and casualness. Yet, isn’t taking the time to question the place a kind of work ?” C.G 39

Arzubialde Arquitectos Rosario, Argentina / 6 months, 1 day/week - bricks - urban territory - foreign experience -
2016 CONTEXT: Arzubialde Arquitectos is located in Rosario, Argentina. The economy of means is at the heart of each project, but must never prejudice the spatial and formal qualities, the qualities of use. That’s what I liked and made me contact them. Indeed, this internship experience is born of a need, on the one hand to practice architecture outside the university, and on the other hand, to better understand the mechanisms of this country, Argentina, which welcomed me for a year. PESCA A LA LINEA, ROSARIO (AR), 2016
As part of the organisation of the Archiculture Festival, I was led to organize a dance festival, inviting dances crews, like Cie Chute Libre.
In southern Rosario, a poor community live on the banks of the Parana river. The road to get there is in dirt, and when it rains, the site become inaccessible. In the same mood, during the spring, when the Parana grows, all the houses are flooded. The biggest economy of this community is fishing, they have there own store. We were asked to think about create a social place surrounding it, and to imagine an architectural way to reconnect all the territory.

ISLA CHARIGUE, ROSARIO (AR), 2015 The isla Charigue is just facing the city of Rosario, from the other side of the Parana river. RELIEVE OF SPATIAL TRANSFORMATIONS and what ensued: confrontation of ex-detainees to their place of detention
«Argentina is a young country, where history is going at full speed, between populist governments and coups d’etat.
His memory is just as lively. It floods the streets, the universities. It upsets, remembers, unworthy. It asks for justice. The societal process in which it takes place has just begun after one of these coups d’etat, which are recurrent in this austral country.
To understand origins of this memory, we have to immerse itself in a complex mechanism, in which the actors intertwine. But some of them are witnesses and protagonists at the same time, they tell what happened as well as they are silent. These are the ex - Clandestine Detention Centres. They always stand there, in the cities.
