Please return bags after worship. There is a staffed nursery for infants and toddlers at the north end of the building. Harvest of Hands is hosting a Valentine’s Sale on Sunday, February 12th from 8 to 12. The sale will include: Baked Goods, Jewelry, Paper Flowers, Valentine Cards, Honor/Memory Donation Cards. All proceeds for the sale will go the Truckload of Life Project. The project is to package 100,000 meals with the help of Outreach International, the congregation (you), and the community. The packing event is on April 15th. We still need to raise money to pay for the event. We need your help for this sale. Please consider baking for the sale. Please drop off your items on February 10th or 11th in the Kitchen or Wilderness Room. We will package the baked goods on Saturday, the 11th.We hope to see you at the sale.

Thank you to everyone who provides financial support to the mission and ministry of Zion. The total response on Estimate of Giving cards is up 4% over 2011, which helps us make some confident projections for our overall giving in 2012. We had 257 Estimate of Giving Cards returned for 2012. The total on the estimate of giving cards for the General Fund is $411,000. We have projected total congregational giving to the general fund to increase 2% in 2012 and have a 2012 General Budget of $745,000. The total on the estimate of giving cards for the Building Fund is $156,000, and we projected total congregational giving to the Buildings Fund in 2012 to be $200,000. Thank you!

Announcements & Upcoming Events Life Principles from the Old Testament The Women’s Study on Wednesday Mornings will continue with a new series studying the examples of Biblical figures. Participants will discover the principles God is giving us. This study begins on February 15 and continues through May 2 on Wednesday mornings at 9:30am at Zion. Please contact Donna Magnan at 972.6403 if you are interested in participating in the study. Harvest of Hands Help support the upcoming Truckload of Life project . Harvest of Hands is holding a bake sale at Zion on February 12. Please consider making an item or two for the sale. Its should be brought to the kitchen on Saturday, February 11. Baptism Class Anyone wishing to schedule a baptism is asked to attend a class prior to the date of baptism. Expectant parents, as well as those who already are parents, may attend the class. Scheduling of baptism will take place at the class. The next classes is Sunday, February 12 at noon. Register at, sign up at Information Desk or by calling the office. First Communion Class Students in 5th grade and above are invited to attend this First Communion Festival on Thursday, March 1 at 5pm or Saturday, March 3 at 9am. Youth News Confirmation Classes - Wed Nights 6-7:30pm This week’s topic: God’s Kingdom and Will Don’t forget your Bibles and Handbooks! Bible Camp Zion is going to Camp Wapo in Amery, WI, July 6-13, 2012. Come be a part of a great experience! 6th-8th Grade - Youth Camp - July 8-13 Cost is $290/camper. A $100/camper deposit is required. 9th - 12th Grade - TIM (Teens in Mission) Team - July 6 - 13 Cost is $290/camper. A $100/camper deposit is required. Look for brochures at the info desk. Registration and deposit must be in by Mar 4. Camp Sunday - Sun Feb 12 Luke Halvorson from Camp Wapo, will be at Zion, to address any questions or concerns that you might have about camp. Snowtubing - Wed Mar 7 @ Elm Creek in Maple Grove Open to all 7th/8th Grade and Sr High students. Students must be at Zion by 3:30pm. Group will return at 8:15pm. Students must have gloves, hat and warm coat. There is a waiver for parents to sign available on-line. Cost is $20, which covers ticket and bus. Bring money for food or a sack lunch. Relay for Life Open House - February 26, 2-4pm This open house will help committee volunteers get the word out into the community about: Starting or joining a team, sponsorship opportunities and fundraising events. The date for the Buffalo Relay For Life event at Sturges Park is July 20, 2012. Registration begins at 4:30pm with opening ceremonies beginning at 7:00pm. Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
