PROPOSED MONITORING PLAN The proposed monitoring program will: Confirm, where appropriate, that mitigation measures are functioning as predicted; Detect changes and trends in the environment; Establish a periodic ecological monitoring system in the forest ecosystem and wildlife habitat areas; Identify cause-effect relationships for detected changes and trends in the environment; Allow for adaptive management to address impacts that have not been properly mitigated or offset.
