It was at the end of spring, early summer, when I have started to work on this new collection. Parks go greener, flowers blooms, walkers are out, wearing the perfect summary outfit. Light and gently cut, they appear to look smart and relaxed. There’s the smell of a new start. People smile, again, but you never know who what’s going to happen at the next corner. ¬¬Who are you going to meet, A friend, a stranger, a lover, a sex wonderer. My goal throughout this research was to bring people on a journey, sort of a cruise. Bringing them into the old hidden world of Gay cruising. Half hidden, leaving some creaking steps noises on the ground, breaking some left branches from the past season. A journey of loss, where you don’t know any longer if you are the prey, or the predator. Cruising can be Cruising: on a cruise ship: Cruising (driving), driving around: Cruising, leisurely travel by boat, yacht, or cruise ship and Cruising for sex, the process of searching in public places for sexual partners. I have decided to develop my project around this journey of sex hunting around public spaces located in London. In 2017, the growing use of social media on our everyday life has made this type of meeting even easier - we no longer need to hide physically behind a bush, but behind a nickname, and a screen. GRINDR. cruising for sex is still exist as face to face on the street in the park but on first place the cruising by social media stand. Social media makes cruising easier and safer, as those different apps act like screens. This is the process of searching sexual partners in public places such as parks, bars, public toilets, public places. My project and observation concentrated more around the parks in London such as Regents Park, Hyde Park, Queen Mary’s Rose Garden, Hampstead Heath, Vauxhall Park and Clapham Common Park. This parks had been very well known and popular cruising places since the 17th century. This collection is about going back to our animalistic roots. Learning to transmit and raise awareness into people consciousness, this is my motto. People has to leave those technology People, get out there.. Try to enjoy the nature and the company of each other. For me personally parks in London are very important. When I would like to relax just to take a bit of time out during spring or summer I will go to the park and just sit on the grass, have a walk around and observe people and the nature. PARK for me means RELAXATION: relaxation means PLEASURE for the mind and for the body. Most of the people will do the same. In this public places we can be in the nature which will help us to relax and will give us some pleasure. What can WE find there? BLOSSOM and BOYS
