Target 1 - HBCU for Life: A Call to Action
Zeta Theta Omega hosted "The wAKAnda Party," a family fun event where patrons young and young at heart had the opportunity to bowl. The guests were given important and timely information on HBCUs as well as the College Admissions Process. Soror Milistine Tatum is the Chairman of Target 1. The Co-Chairmen for this event were Sorors Pamela Craig Garner and Kolaiah Tucker.

Target 2 - Women's Healthcare & Wellness

All Photos: Each month a different Sister2Sister business is highlighted in Zeta Theta Omega's monthly newsletter. The Zeta Theta Omega Soror Business Expo allowed Sister2Sister businesses to come together under one roof. Members highlighted and promoted entrepreneurial ventures with displays, samples and provided the members the opportunity to purchase items from their business.
Target 3 - Building Your Economic Legacy

Target 3 - Building Your Economic Legacy
Zeta Theta Omega chapter celebrated The Arts! with a Harlem Renaissance themed dinner dance "The Ivy PINKeasy: A Harlem Renaissance Affair" at Tangier's Restaurant. Decorations included pictures of prominent figures from the Harlem Renaissance with informational facts on the back.
Target 4: The ARTS!
Our guests enjoyed music from a Jazz Band that provided sounds from the Harlem Renaissance era as well as, dinner, dancing and ended the evening with a DJ. Members of the chapter and our guests looked marvelous in their 20's attire. A special thank you to the event Co-Chairmen Pamela Craig Garner, Tamara Lewis-Baranyai, and the committee who did an awesome job setting the tone and ensuring everyone in attendance had a great time.
Target 4: The ARTS!
Zeta Theta Omega aims to do their part to ensure the history from this era is remembered and valued. The changes that occurred during this time frame with the music, the dress, the poetry and renewing Black Experiences are still very important to continue and pass on to the next generation. Our guests looked fantastic in their Harlem Renaissance attire as they danced the night away!

Target 5: Global Impact
Zeta Theta Omega Chapter hosted a wonderful event called "The Pearl Experience" which was a day party with a purpose! Our guests were invited to join us in donating pillowcases to support Alpha Kappa Alpha's Global Impact target that provides dresses and shirts for the children of Haiti. The DJ, EZ Money, kept the party moving from the beginning to the end.
Target 5: Global Impact
Top Row:Â The Pearl Experience continues! The generous guests of our event donated 222 pillowcases and 9 yards of fabric. Zeta Theta Omega has partnered with the women of the Northeast Reintegration Center and men of the Grafton Reintegration Center for the past 4 years, where the ladies and gentlemen transform the pillowcases to dresses or shirts. (3 & 4) For AKA Global Impact Day, members of the Target 5 committee receive a tour of the International Institute of Akron, a 501 (c)3 nonprofit agency that creates and implements programs and services that assist those born outside the United States to integrate into American society, specifically in Akron.

Pink Goes Red for Heart Health Day
On Friday, February 1, 2019, our Pink Goes Red event was hosted by Zeta Theta Omega and Delta Pi chapters at the Summa Center for Health Equity. The guests learned the importance of regular blood pressure screenings and the existence of white coat fear that causes many to not move forward with regular screenings. The guests were treated to a chair work out, where we remained seated and participated in a great cardio workout. The evening ended after learning and implementing a new line dance, from Soror Renee LeGrair. The event was informative and fun! Dr. Sylvia Ruff serves as Chairman of the Target 2 committee.
Pink Goes Red for Heart Health Day
Alpha Kappa Alpha International Day of Prayer was recognized by Zeta Theta Omega at Good Shepherd Baptist Church. Pastor Rodney G. McNab Sr. and First Lady Zanetta McNab, and the entire church family were warm and welcoming. Members enjoyed the time of worship and had the opportunity to continue the fellowship at dinner. A Special thank you to our Chaplains Dr. Flora N. Dees and Evangelist Katrina Jackson for organizing the day. It was a blessed and beautiful day!

Breast Cancer Awareness Day
Zeta Theta Omega and Delta Pi chapters collaborated to put on the "Think Pink" event, which was held at the Summa Center for Health Equity. Guests received information regarding the importance of prioritizing for one's breast care and examination and to positively engage in the items in their control such diet and exercise. There was also a nutrition demonstration, line dancing, and a tai chi demonstration. On this day, sorors were also encouraged to promote breast cancer awareness by posting their "Think Pink" pictures on social media. The Co-Chairmen of this great event were Dr. Sylvia Ruff and Soror Diana Wilson Dix.

Members of the Target 2 committee put together and delivered care packages to sorors of Zeta Theta Omega chapter who are caregivers. Some sorors received their care packages in their homes and other received their care packages during the November Chapter meeting. Also during the member November Chapter meeting, members of the Target 2 committee read a special sisterhood poem to honor the caregivers.
