Thank you for your continuing support of Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. For the fiscal year July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2011, our parish budget calls for $22,232.00 to be donated weekly at the Sunday collection. The collection for Sunday, February 6, 2011 was $23,197.17 in addition to approximately $1,4,84.25 which is donated weekly in February via automatic debit. The collection is not only used for operating expenses each week, but also for any ongoing repair work, upgrades, etc. to our parish facility.

During busy times at Our Lady of the Assumption, the parking lot can become very busy and parking spots can become hard to find. Even during these busy times, it is important that basic parking rules be followed. Please follow these guidelines when parking at our busy parish:

~ Please park only in the marked parking spaces. ~ Please DO NOT double-park or block other vehicles that are already parked. ~ Please DO NOT park in between marked spaces. These are fire lanes needed in case of an emergency. ~ Please DO Not park in front of the Rectory garage. The area needs to remain clear so the priests can respond to hospital emergencies. ~ Please DO park in the extra parking available at St. Bonaventure High School. ~ Please observe any no parking signs or cones during special events. ~ Please observe any Disabled Persons parking spots – DO NOT block these spots. ~ Please report any parking issues to the Parish Office, located in the Rectory, so we can attempt to help. ~ Please be patient, drive carefully, and be courteous to others as they walk around the parish grounds.

Following these basic rules will help everyone visiting Our Lady of the Assumption to park safely, and to preserve the fire lanes in case of an emergency. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Parish Office will be closed on February 21st for Presidents Day

Education VONS is helping our school again! Save your receipts! Bring your Vons receipts to the school, rectory or in the vestibule VONS box. until Feb. 22nd. Our goal for Jan-Feb is $5,000.
