Our donut and coffee fellowship is at 9:30 a.m., testimonies and/or life application teaching at 9:45 to 10:45 a.m., praise and worship services 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Everyone is invited. This is an “exciting” full gospel course of real action for hurting people and a hurting church. Pastor Marie and Wyley voluntarily and faithfully have pastored in this community for over 25 years and have personally fought the good fight and understand that the church needs “real” facts on how to do so. Eight steps to positive living are being taught by Pastor Marie at 9:45 a.m. If you are struggling with anything (and we all are), don’t miss this class. We bring you personal life application teaching and preaching, preparing you for this day and this time. Pastor Wyley Johnson is certainly not afraid to walk you week-by-week in prophecy to show you biblically where we are and stand today, as far as events that are happening before our very eyes. Now is the time to get right with the Lord or get left behind. The church definitely needs to be warned and needs to know. Jesus is coming and these are exciting times to be living in. Paul said in 1 Cor. 16-15, “that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints.” Everyone is addicted to something, “Why not Jesus.” “We are excited to be able to offer this community what we believe it truly needs a ministry that understands the disease of addiction as well as overcoming life’s challenges and we have also gone beyond the four walls to reach out and provide a safe place where men can have a life-changing experience. His gathering place offers a ministry of food, Saturday Bible study, fellowship, Alanon, support for families of addiction, Sunday celebrate recovery. We are honored to be a part of this disparately needed plan for God’s people. In addition, we offer Hope House Addiction Recovery consisting of

eight homes, established over 20 years ago. Hope House is six months min., residential, structured, court-approved and full of the love of Jesus Christ and has always been a bright light in the darkness of the lives of those who make up their mind that they are sick and tired of being sick and tired. Clients are allowed to reside as long as it takes for them to be confident they are ready and we offer them a lifetime support system. For information or donations, contact Pastor Marie at (813) 997-3679. New Hope Baptist Church Vacation Bible School, June 21 through the 25. We have classes for all ages (3 yrs. through adults). VBS starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., Monday through Friday. This year Saddleback Ranch will be our setting with a western theme. It will be a great place to have Bible study and learn new songs. Pre-registration will be Sunday June 20, after each service, or call the church for more information. Vacation Bible School is not only for the young but for adults as well. We are excited to announce that Ms. Barbara Emery will facilitate five fun-filled, informative and interactive sessions for adults. These sessions will be 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. each evening. The topic is the life of Esther. This is a Biblical study of who she was, what she accomplished and how she succeeded. Esther’s lifestyle and manner teach us today about hospitality, relationships, communications and manners that matter. Come join us for these exciting sessions. Pre enrollment is appreciated for planning purposes. Please call 782-1820 to enroll. Awana is over for the summer. We graduated our kids on May 26 and recognized our outstanding achievers. Those that finished their book and ready to start Book 2 in the fall received their diplomas. We had one young man who had finished two books. Then, there were those that will be moving forward from Cubbies to Sparks and ten kids from Sparks to T&T. Needless to say we are very pleased with our program and the willingness of our kids to learn all about God’s word. Bible study is so important to direct us through our daily lives. Our kids are at the right age to start the correct journey. We will start Awana registration September 1 with our first night on the Sept. 8. In addition, you are likewise invited to visit us for wor-

ship each Sunday. Our Fresh Start Service starts at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Daniel Edgeman delivering God’s word. At 11:00 a.m., our traditional worship service starts with Senior Pastor Don Walton preaching the word of God. Then at 6 p.m. we have our evening Sunday service. We hold a prayer service on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. New Hope Baptist Church is located at the corner of Allen and Chancey Roads. We have parking in both the front and back of the church. If you have any questions please call (813) 782-6592. Zephyr Christian Church, 5940 Dogwood St. (corner of North Ave. and 23rd St.). Come join us August 2-6 for Vacation Bible School, “Galactic Blast,” a voyage into outer space praising God. We will see space like never before, gain a new perspective on our planet earth and learn easy ‘green earth tips to practice at home. This cosmic combination of faith and fun will help develop a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. CornerStone Baptist Church recently marked its first anniversary with gratitude and praise to God “for the things He has done.” In its first year, the church’s membership has grown and God has blessed us in so many ways. Dr. Neal Resue, Pastor, says “Our objective is to follow God’s Word as He instructs us in Jeremiah 6:16….ask for the old paths, where is the good way and walk therein… Our Gospel is not the ‘new modern Gospel’, but the ‘old time religion’.” CornerStone Baptist Church is an old-fashioned, independent, fundamental, Bible believing, God fearing congregation. It is meeting the needs of those who desire to learn the truths of God’s Word. If you are looking for a place to worship, you will find a warm welcome at CornerStone Baptist Church. The church currently meets in a storefront at 35320 State Road 54, West (in the Madison Two Complex, halfway between Eiland Blvd. and Dean Dairy Road). Sundays begin with coffee and donuts at 10:30 a.m. Worship services are at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. For Sunday evening, June 13, the church is planning a Sing-A-Long.
