Unilever distributors are well reputed for their professionalism and are the prime choice for any company for distributing their products. Unilever is committed to making continuous improvements in the management of their environmental impacts. Their environmental strategy focuses primarily on achieving its goals through eco- efficiency in manufacturing. Recognizing the precarious state of the depleting ground water table, they embarked upon a water conservation program- achieving a phenomenal 60% reduction in water consumption. To deal with industrial effluents they installed an Effluent Treatment Plant at an investment of Tk 2 crores leading to effluent quality far exceeding mandatory requirements. 2.7 Corporate offices relocated from Chittagong to Dhaka The registered office of Unilever is still in Chittagong and their main manufacturing operations are and will remain in Chittagong.
