l 2010 fue un año inolvidable para el boxeo, gracias a todos los seguidores se hizo historia y Zanfer tuvo la oportunidad de ser parte y poner el nombre de México muy en alto a través del deporte de los puños. El 30 de abril del 2010 Fernando “Ko-chulito” Montiel se convirtió en el primer campeón mundial en la historia de la OMB en defender su título y ser reconocido como tal en Japón, por su lado Zanfer participó como co-promotor al lado de Teiken Promotions, y por supuesto TV Azteca estuvo presente para transmitir ese evento. El 13 de noviembre el mejor peleador del mundo Manny Pacquiao y Antonio Margarito lograron marcar 27 puntos de rating rompiendo el récord que en marzo lo habia obtenido participando una vez más Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey, Zanfer y Top Rank fueron los co-promotores. Conscientes de lo que es participar un deporte muy competitivo, en el 2010 hubo derrotas que hasta la fecha sentimos y victorias que aún disfrutamos, pero la gente que nos acompañó a nuestros eventos a apoyar a los boxeadores de Zanfer fue lo que marcó la diferencia entre una buena noche y una gran noche. Agradezco a todos nuestros guerreros que depositaron su confianza en nosotros y nos dieron la seguridad de crear una relación de éxito. Muchas gracias a los patrocinadores que han creído en el boxeo y en nosotros. Gracias a mis colegas en la oficina que hacen toda esta experiencia aún más especial, estamos preparándonos para seguir logrando más metas y muchos éxitos, todos a mirar para enfrente porque ya empieza el 2011. 010 was an unforgettable year for boxing, history was made thanks to all supporters and Zanfer had the opportunity to be a part of it putting the name of Mexico very high in the sport of fists. On April 30, 2010 Fernando “Kochulito” Montiel became the first world champion in history to defend his WBO title and was acknowledged as such in Japan, meanwhile Zanfer participated as co-promoter with Teiken Promotions, and of course TV Azteca was there to broadcast the event. On November 13 the best fighter in the world Manny Pacquiao faced Antonio Margarito in a showdown that scored 27 points of rating, smashing the record set in March obtained by the clash between Manny Pacquiao vs. Joshua Clottey, co-sponsored by Zanfer and Top Rank. We are aware that this is a competitive sport and in 2010 there were some setbacks that still make us feel bad, but also victories that we celebrate up to this day. But it was really the people who were with us in our events and supported Zanfer’s fighters who made the difference between a good night and a great night. I want to thank all our warriors who trusted in us and gave us credence to create a successful relationship. Thanks a lot to sponsors who believed in boxing and in us. Thanks to my office colleagues who make the whole experience even more special, we are getting ready to get more goals and many hits, we all look forward to having a great start in 2011.
