ABOUT Hello there! My name is Zakiah and I am a graduate from Nanyang Polytechnic, majoring in Visual Communication. I have experienced in doing packaging, prints and digital in the past 3 years of the course. As a side personal interest, I have always interested in covering songs and this led me to learn on how to use Adobe Audition by myself. Designing has always been my interest and I am open to expose myself to different kinds of designs out there in the world. 2

CAFE SERIES newsl ette r s
This is newsletter project i did in Year 2. We were tasked to choose a theme and I decided to do on Public Favourites. One of the issues is on Cafe Hopping. There are two issues of the newsletter, 1st issue is food cafes and the 2nd issue is cat cafes.
For the food cafes I decided to put in ratings for every cafe I went. In total I went to 6 food cafes and chose the best 3 to be put inside the newsletter. Overall was a very good and learning experience as I get to see different kinds of designs and concepts of every cafe I went to.

A brand guide book for the Army Open House 2017. We were tasked to do up a logo and a brand guide for it.

For this project, we were supposed to choose our own theme. I decided to choose nature as my theme. I challenged myself and chose to do up a brochure for Botanic Gardens.
It was my first time using Indesign but with perserverance and patience, I managed to get the effect that I wanted.

CHOCOLATE COCO cho co l ate p a c ka g ing
I was chosen to join a competition called Winning Inspirational Challenge held by HP @ HP Graphic Solutions Business Centre of Excellence. The aim of the project is to create a brand for a new chocolate called COCO that is going to be launched in 2017. As a group, we are suppose to create a marketing plan and a packaging for the chocolate in 10 days. So I was in charge of making the chocolate box packaging.

For this project, I wanted to to create an awareness on depression in teenagers. In order to do that, I have partnered with Hershey Chocolate. As chocolate is considered a way to boost happiness, I chose Hershey as it is an offerdable product for my target audience.

The theme is â€œA Second Homeâ€?.The school wanted to have an image of being comfortable and wants the students to treat the school as their home. 23

During my internship, I was tasked to work on the certificate for the 9th ASEAN Schools Games. I had to do two sets, Certificate of Participation and Certificate of Appreciation. In a total of 4,000+ certificates.

The topic that Iâ€™ve chosen for this project is fantasy. My idea was having a fairytale concept where a book magically appear and drop into a forest and when the book open, the fairy began to appear on the tree and the animals in the forest were curious so they approach towards the book and the fairy.

Housewives feel they are unappreciated by their family so I made this project as a platform for the family members to write down their message to them.
Process: Drawing using pencil
Used watercolour as the base and then use colour pencil to deepen the depth and shading
Marketing A blow up handcream will be mounted in malls or places that has Watsons nearby.

Point of Purchase (POP) This Point of Purchase is a platform where the user can have their personalised message sticker printed. The user has to scan the barcode on their receipt in order to start typing down their message. 31
